With the auction now live, we wanted to highlight some more props we thought players would find interesting! These include Lion's Pride Inn props, Doomhammer, King Llane's armor, lots of maps of Azeroth, and the Stormwind Throne Room.

The following are the set bid increments for the Auction.

• $10 - $50 by $10

• $50 - $500 by $25

• $500 - $2,000 by $100

• $2,000 - 5,000 by $250

• $5,000 - $10,000 by $500

That's kinda sad. I don't think the film was very good, but I was willing to see Arthas on screen. Perhaps, if Blizzard put their money on a TV series, like Dire Devil or Arrow, it would be better. Just a FYI for those players/fans thinking about putting in a bid. If your only experience with auctions is eBay, most major AHs charge a buyer's premium (also called "the juice") in the form of a percentage of the winning bid. It's how the AH makes its money (and sometimes even charges a small percentage of the winning bid to the consignor).

Most AHs I've used charge anywhere between 15% - 20% (at the high end). The buyer's premium for this sale of Warcraft props is 23%! That's nuts. So whatever your winning bid is, add 23% to it. Then you have to factor in shipping...

I was eyeing one of the Alliance shields. They're hanging around $200 now but will surely go up over the next 8 days. Let's be conservative and say you pick one up for $300. The juice is $69 and the cheapest shipping quote I could get (I live in N. Carolina) was $100. So before all is said and done, my shield with a winning bid of $300 is going to cost me $469. If you live in Cali, tack on another roughly 10% in sales tax ($513.55 final cost on your base winning bid of $300).

Don't get me wrong...this stuff is amazing and if I didn't think my wife would leave me, I'd decorate the entire house with these props : ) Just want to help those that are (or are planning on) bidding to know what they're getting in to. Good luck to all!Comment by N0083rP00FThe other sad thing about urethane foam and most plastics is that they do not age well unless you take extra special care of them.
Outside of the metal, cloth and leather the rest is just not worth it except for bragging in the short term and you have a whole lot of cash to burn.

Outside of being certified props used in a film it is cheaper to have these made locally by a trusted artisan. especially the sheilds and banners.
