Nerfing a gem people rarely use Blizzard? HAahah nice job you really know your game.
Just remove them....Nobody uses those garbage things anyways.Next they'll nerf Sub Rogue again since they are nerfing useless things into the ground.
I'm in a mid-tier guild, but it seems hard to find anybody who doesn't have Alchemy and Herbalism at this point on their main (and if they don't they have an Alch/Herb alt). Why make Jewelcrafting even less useful?
How about making primary stat actually matter first? Majority of specs rather opt for 50 secondary stat gems already over 120 primary stat. Personally I can confirm that as fury warr with 3x cold steel 50 crit is equal to 120 str at the moment so nerfing the gem makes it irrelevant.
Lmao everyone in this thread is raging like “OH EM GEEEE I will get 20 less of my main stat next patch I hate Blizz! They may have millions of subscribers but I personally don’t like this change so they better listen to me before I unsub!” Chill out with the mob mentality hate fest people. The game will continue live on like it has for the last 15 years.
This is probably just a preface to nerfing ALL gems so they don't vastly increase the power of a piece of gear if it warforges with a socket. I expect the secondary stat gems to be nerfed to the tune of 60-70%
Contrary to popular belief, primary stat gem usage is alive and well in the upper raiding tiers. I personally have both a Leviathan and Kraken Eye slotted. Mages in particular use both.
I thought they had already killed off JC as a proffession ~
Bring back Cata/MoP styled gear with static gem sockets. Would easily solve the gem problem as everyone would have the same amount of sockets...
