my first epic loot would have been my epic beer Kodo :D.But there was another person who rolled with me and he got 5 and i got 89 lol :)

I love the Tier2 set i got on my original priest! She's still 60 and I think of her like a statue in a museum, remembering that time frame :D Even when I played TBC beta, i kept the tier set on while playing because I loved the bonuses way too much! hehe
By far the most epic loot for me was the completion of my Dilapidated PVP Set (for some reason a warrior wearing full grey cloth in pvp doesn't do well, but sure looks hilarious). I was decked out in the most pimpin' set I could find, but was missing something... I had the hat (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25345) but something still lacked... My weapon didn't fit my outfit, it actually did damage when I swung, that is when it hit me (without doing damage of course!) The Stoppable Force! I didn't have to farm long for it obviously but that piece of loot really sealed the deal on my prot-specced warrior's legendary romp through arena's and bg's across the land.
My most epic...http://www.wowhead.com/?item=439514 friend of mine ever since we found out it existed from the day we hit 80 kept working on perfecting our strat (no pun intended) to get this mount.Without reading any guides on how to do it, I think it was our third time in there and we got our first one. More specifically I got the first one.The mount itself really isn't what made me happy. More that we were able to pull together and get this feat accomplished. I ride around on it every chance I get to remind myself of what we did.
My most 'epic' loot drop....A long, long time ago on the beaches of Feralas.. I met a goblin named Zorbin Fandazzle, who wanted me to get some Zapped Giants, and whack some water elementals for Fuel for the Zapping. Well, that crafty goblin had some shiny toys and a handful of silver as a reward, so off I trudged to do his dirty work.A short while later, and much giant entrails and elemental essence later.. I happen upon a human paladin who has been sent on the very same mission. We decide to join forces, making the task go by much faster. Near the end of the job as a particularly nasty giant fell to the ground, slain by our hands.. a glitter caught our eyes. An axe.. and not just any axe, but a Flurry Axe! We talked over how we should devise the epic loot's ownership, as both of us could use it. I decided that the Paladin could have it, as he would gain more benefit from it than I. A lasting friendship was born that day. After the task was completed that day, the paladin and I still spoke on occasion.. though after a time we lost touch. Many many seasons later, (40 levels, and probably 9 months or so) we again ran into each other.. The paladin was now the second in command of one of our realms top raiding guilds, and he issued an invitation to me without hesitation. The invitation was accepted, and I joined the ranks of his guild along with a number of friends that I brought with me. A short time later, my paladin friend became head of the guild. To this day, no more epic drops have I come across than a friendship rekindled, and a raiding career begun. :)
The most epic piece of loot I ever got would have to be the firefly pet that drops from Zangarmarsh. I had been farming for weeks for the thing because my girl wanted one (she's a pet addict lol). I was beggining to lose hope when I was out there before a Lady Vashj raid and decided to kill time farming some more. Very first kill the little buggar dropped, made my girls day.
I used to farm mechanar chests on my rogue and at first I would run by all the mobs to get a faster clear, but I soon decided to pick pocket the mobs and got a peculiar prize A Steamy Romance Novel! It turned out to be an actual sex book made by blizz. I then took it to Org and sold it for 15g after sharing it with my buddies.
My most epic loot was finally get Humbert's sword :(. They just won't let me have that sword after I asked them nicely.
