My "epic drop" was when I beat a twink 19 rogue nelf as a level 15 undead rogue with only quest greens. Ashomness!
T4 Helm token was my prized possession forever on my Druid. I had the s3 helm for awhile, had been exalted for months and got the helm only about 2 weeks before the xpac but I was ecstatic. i am a co-gm and tend to be very giving of loot items so it had dropped before but i would always give it to the people that overall had worse gear and in turn could use it more.
Mine would have to be my T4 gloves after running kara many times, i just knew i was going to roll low, and i /rolled a 45 luckily the other person rolled 37, i was so happy, to bad i lost my T4 Head to a priest 2 different times, and then never saw it again.
My most epic moment was in Feralas with my first character. I had just killed a bear, lvling me to 46, I looked inside and found a http://www.wowhead.com/?item=7734#dropped-by:0+3-9+1. I was so extatic, I had never had a trinket before. It was my first random rare drop, I still have it too.
Most epic loot and battle would have been back when my guild first ran BWL. We sat there staring at Razorgore and only have strat sheets to go off of. When we first started, it seemed pretty simple, but then the legionnaires came out...then the casters. And at one point, while stunlocking caster in the eastern corner with my rogue, I just stood there and stared at the chaos while we lagged from 2 other guilds doing Razorgore at the same time as us. If felt like shell-shock in a way, but it became the best battle I've ever fought. Not to mention I won the first Bloodfang bracers that dropped.
Another piece of amazing loot i got was the rod of dartols transformation. Got it the first month the game came out. I used it for a couple years to run around as a furbolg everywhere. Next thing you knew we have 40 furbolgs standing on rag.Makes me so sad that it can only be used in ashenvale now.
hmm my most epic moment? That is hard to say really. I never really considered myself lucky in any sense of the word. I'm always the one int the group that rolls low whenever something I can use drops. Although one day when I was farming Fel Gland 's in shadowmoon valley for Netherwing Reputation, The Chestguard of the Darkstalker dropped off of a felboar! It was the first time I ever really got a world drop of value. Needless to say i was elated. I held onto it and figured I would probably give it to one of my friends, but thirty minutes later the Staff of Divine Infusion dropped off of another boar. I was so amazed that such a feat could be done. It truly was my most lucky and epic day!
