Ough what a grind, this will be horrible!
"so much grind"then ... dont? Are you a tier 1 raider?
So this a grind that needs to be done daily... along with alts were talking as much time as you would spend in a real job. That's the part that I'm not looking forward to... this whole expansion has been designed around a person playing only one character. If you like alts, get ready for an insane grind. Legion at least had something to offer, a reason to play alts that made it stand out. This nothing more than running in circles.
Are the dates wrong about the m+ schedule? It says to do an 21 this week but then goes on to say it's not going to be scaled up next week? Very conflicting info.
So I didn't see this explained. In visions, you have to complete them before running out of sanity it says, but do you ALSO need to exit the instance prior to running out of sanity also? So that means you can't just go kill the final boss, then take all the time you want to explore, correct?
*reads through entire list**puts list back on shelf**wanders off to tend to alts*
Thanks for the detailed overview Squishei :).I am excited for newer content that seems to be more of the same with some twists.World Quests, Events, lesser visions are a nice daily thing to casually work through. The Horrific Visions look to be more of a weekly solo/group progression system that's different then raids or dungeons offering something new. People say it's a grind, but I actually see this as less of a grind compared to mechagon rep or nazjatar pearl diving. The essences are essentially provided to you by doing standard content without extra intensity. Farming a weekly vision is much different then, say, 30k honor :)

wow 8.3 sounds horribly boring. "Grind for currency A to buy currency B so you can enter visions so you can obtain currency C. And if you're a returning player that needs to get caught up so you can raid you can grind for Currency D. But don't worry you'll be forc---I mean you'll get to enjoy doing PvP to obtain them because the only other way to obtain them comes AFTER THE RAID COMES OUT"
Bye, bye World of Grindcraft. The chance to make additional gold for game time or other stuff after hitting AP cap, would have kept me playing. But grinding for equipment that goes down the drain as soon as SL hits? No, no, no.
So, for a non-raider and non-m+ grinder, there is a questline and around 20 minutes of content. Cool.
