When will be able to que for random BGs with people from diff. Language Realms... It will make the que time soooo short if you can play with someone from Outland as a Ger Realm Player ?
Cool, now I can make allied race hunters over and over and camp graveyards even easier. Blizzard is sMaRt!
It seems a lot of twinks will be in wpvp doing stuff instead of bg.
MUCH APPRECIATED.The 110 to 119 bracket was ridiculous, with almost every match being dominated by twinks. You would join, see that they have a twink, and you'd know the whole match is a waste of time. This change will bring back life and fairness into BGs. For those that want to twink, now you can fight fair against other twinks. When the queue doesn't pop, consider joining the rest of us at max level and getting better.
good, screw you twinkstwinking in lower level BGs is garbage
This is a well deserved change. For those who are victim to this, it is extremely annoying and not fun to be on the receiving end.I remember facing against 111 twinks, and the paladin tank was able to 1 shot everyone, and the Horde had captured every base on AB because of 2 twinks on the Horde, and each one required 4/5 people to deal with, and it was extremely frustrating. Glad to have this sorted.
Just a few thoughts, not directed at anyone in particular. In a geared based stat RPG, gear will always, and should always matter. But in BFA something has been really off with the gear in the 111-119 bracket as you mentioned just how powerful they are.Part of the solution would be to add more ilvls spread through out the 111-118/119 leveling process, to cut down on the feeling that you are just getting weaker as you level to 120 (especially since they've raised the baseline ilvl in 8.1 @ 120, leaving this giant gap in ilvl going from leveling to 120). With more baseline/scaling ilvl the difference between BiS twink and randoms would be reduced a good deal, but still allow for people who put time into caring about their gear to perform somewhat better than someone who is not.Another thing on gear, is 8.1.5 added the 110-120 heirloom gear upgrades. This does basically nothing for twinks, but I would imagine it would help people leveling up alts, as over all they should be in a better spot gear wise. (not certain as we never actually got to test that out before they split twink from randoms in the 111-119 bracket)And then as far as no twinks on the other side, at 111-119, this maybe a result of pop discrepancy and the mercenary system. So in this bracket there are more horde than alliance players, leading to shorter Q times for alliance. Combine a diluted horde twink/pop ratio with the fact that horde twinks see this faster Q time for alliance, and then they decide to Q up as mercs for the alliance, resulting in more Alliance Twinks per match. Limiting when merc mode could be used (to say times of extreme discrepancy in which side is Qing up) would probably help lessen that imbalance.Another thing on twinks, atleast from my experience is they rarely Q alone, and are going to almost always be more organized and coordinated than randoms, something that is a part of why twinks can throw off the win rates so much, especially so when combined with the above scenario of mercs and lopsided teams. But with the split and the way they've "Fixed it" now pvpers in both halves of the split brackets get much longer ques (and in the case of twinks in some brackets no Q pops at all.)All this just makes me feel that rather than fix the actual problems above, they went with a wrecking ball of a solution (a theme of BFA it seems) rather than a more surgical targeted approach to said problems.Oh and a completely side comment on people thinking twinking is all about pwning noobs. While some may do it for that reason, in my case, I came back to wow for BFA after not playing since Cata. I had a blast locking in xp playing through legion content, BFA on the other hand, ugh, no desire at all for how its played out, its been extremely not fun to play the constant gear tread mill. Twinking on the other hand, has been set in stone BiS most of the time (occasionally a new event or something adds something new, but generally very static), you know what you are working towards ect. I've had more fun with the twinking communities, running Timewalking and pvping @ 119 than doing anything @ 120. The attitude different of people is contagious, people having fun, instead of mindless zombie bfa loot tread mill and all the anger @ blizz for the BFA %^&* they've been doing. And here for those wanting the point of twinks from the last time blizz was messing with all this https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/disabling-xp-gains-on-110-characters/53391/182
If' you're not enjoying the long queue times, the Alliance is over here waiting for you. Lightning fast queues.
I really don't understand why people like twinking against normal players. Are they that bad? Its like intentionally picking on people that are weaker than you. Especially when you're leveling. (normally the gear you would have access to are heirlooms, quest rewards and dungeon drops. you won't have raid quality gear unless you ask someone to carry you or carry your own character with another account) .I'd categorize it with ganking lowbies. If you really want to do something like that, P2W games probably better suit you.
F2P Players can't queue for BG's anymore actually.
It's bugged or they are glitching and every Random BG 110-119 is filled with twinks now, on XP-gain brackets.
