The patch also allowed the final part of the pathfinder achievement to be completed.
WoD was the first time I get to know WoW (although I heard about the game way before) and started playing it. Looking back with retrospective vision shows that Warlords of Garrison had so much potential, pity they scrapped and sacrificed it for Legion.
I hope we get "Timewalking: Vanilla/Classic" at some point with old naxx 40man as the raid and all the original loot. It'd be superb, sure it'd probably be easy but hopefully the mechanics are the same and we can all enjoy the clusterpuffs on Horsemen, Thaddius and more :D.
I still remember at the start of 6.2 Frost Death Knights we're OP as #$%^ and took blizzard a week to nerf them.
One of my biggest regrets in WoW is not getting that moose mount. I don't think any of the 'heroic endgame boss mount reward' is as good as this one.
This is when I started playing. I remember the days when I cluelessly grinded for no reason because I didn't know what to do. Those were good days...
Ah yes, trying to rehabilitate "DRAENOR IS FREE!" one of the worst writing moments up to that point in wow, to cap the worst (up to that point "xpacs" in wow. Then the writing team clearly decided to one up each other by giving us:-illidan was justified in enslaving and murdering people in his mad thrist for power for millenia-the lich queen's genocide and "only following orders" is a valid defense for everyone who burned Teldrassil-the jailer made her (or didn't) do it, and shadowlandsAnd now dragon (flight coming at a later date) and all retcons that will bring, especially the end of cata. Can't wait for the article telling us when timeless dropped, and how great the content drought was while everyone waited for "THE BIGGEST XPAC EVER!" (literally what the devs promised wod would be).
They were called 'Friendship Moose Runs'. And they were free. There was an excellent site that facilitated all sorts of group encounters.
