Timebound Ruminations still a waste of anima... Alt character wouldn't even have this much anima and for mains its now completely useless...Blizzard should have just increased XP by at least factor of 10 instead so that items are usable for companions above lvl 30...
Level 30 not bad....a helluva lot better than the 5k exp....10k anima does seem quite hefty but still better than a measly 5k exp
And after 30, leveling all those companions will still take forever
Would just like to point out that the Timebound Ruminations giving 5k XP means 8 of them to make up the now 40k-ish XP mentioned, for a total of 80k anima, not 4 of them and 40k :)

soo now the timebound rumination is basically worthless ... was looking forward to actually leveling my followers ... but instead i guess i just get to just keep grinding it ... just keep grinding grinding grinding ... what a fun thing to go to the table two or even three times a day to collect my follower xp ... or to see that i cant get any ... still dont have a level 60 follower ... think 48 is my highest ... and it wont be 60 for another two years at this point b.c they made it take soo much xp and require soo many missions that are 4+ hours each ... soo now what is the point here... to boost your followers to 30 ... which is not even half way ... b.c 31-60 takes what double-triple-more of the xp that 1-30 does .... soo now this does basically nothing to help the issue b.c its less than 25% of the entire amount of xp u need to actually level a follower ... might be nice to actually help the players instead of just constantly putting in half measures ... just put a solid xp amount item like it was ... was actually a good idea but once again you didnt put it in correctly(not that i know what correctly is) soo instead of fixing it u just remove it outright ... makes senseas "an alt thing" ... its OK at best ... but overall i still feel this is basically worthless at this point b.c if your gonna play your alt ur already past 30 on your followers ... and its a single follower out of what 20 some ... soo now even if your starting a new toon ur still talking like 2-5 of them just to start up or 20k-50k anima JUST TO START THE TABLE ... just put something in that gives a set amount of xp and nerf the required xp and call it a day its actually frustrating reading them make something useful into something worthless 2nd afterthought as i went to my table ... make the xp missions give more xp and make them appear more often? since clearly you dont care about the people who are still grinding it atleast make the grind somewhat better.

They are acount bound tho. So you can buy them if you're anima is overflowing on your main, and send them to alts..Or use them to lvl new dudes when switching to new covenants since that's also going to be a thing with this patch.I've personally stocked up on XP tokens from missions worth a few houndred K that I plan to use after switching covenants after the patch hits. This could push those new followers even faster. :)
I just recently came back to the game so my followers are like level 20, is this table even worth it?I have 1 million gold so I really dont need it for gold missions and the callings give plenty enough gold.Is there some other purpose for needing high level followers?
The progress on the weekly PTR is almost non existent. This doesn't look good. Just release the patch guys

I still won't buy it for 10k anima as follower levels are largely useless after switching covenants (having gotten all the rewards from your original covenant), but at least it isn't laughable now. Good change.Regarding gold, on one character I made 13,005 gold from table missions in the past 7 days, so it definitely ain't nothing, but I still have 9 million gold after buying the AH mount last expansion, so I'm not exactly hurting. Back at the end of legion I averaged 45k gold per DAY across 11 max-level characters. Doing the math with 11 max-level characters with maxed-out level 60 followers, that would bring in 20.5k gold per day.That would also require unlimited anima to send them on missions, and there aren't any passive anima sources in Shadowlands, unlike WoD and Legion. I've got 60k or so sitting around but it would take a large chunk to level those followers in the first place.Ultimately if you need gold this is worth doing for sure. 20.5k gold per day is pretty good; back in WoD I made around 25k/day.
