I'd put things into perspective before rushing to condemn every move they make. Getting the equivalent 'mog' from mythic raiding requires just a much if not even more effort from a group of 20 people. And we are talking about a full set with the 'elite' looks. At the moment, for every toon I see in Oribos with a full Mythic raiding set there are 5 to 10 with the elite PvP set. Not to mention the fact that full pvp sets would pop up as early as 2-3 weeks into the patch while the pve ones would take much more time. Get your regular gladiator set with farming those weeklies and earn your pvp elite set - or buy it via boosting for that matter, this is not the point of this post, to recycle an already known issue in pvp - just as hard as you would for the pve one.
and when you think you reach the bottom of the barrel, Blizzard is there to surprise you that there is more to it.. there is literally zero hope with these devs.. I wouldnt even trust them to run a small market place in a village.. only thing that saves blizzard now is classic wow and that because current devs have nothing to do about it..
Great so now I need a higher rating for the elite set than I did before. $%^&ing garbage.
Yikes. First hunter nerf revert and now this, yeah, abandon all hope. 1800 was already hard for new players and people who got into pvp, 1950 is a joke, this change will make so many people either buy boosts or lose all satisfaction and quit pvp because of this bull#$%^.EDIT: About boosters - in my opinion they should just make your gear scale to a certain ilvl for certain brackets, so boosters aren't THAT much of a problem. Not talking about the absolute dog!@#$ scaling where you could 1shot with unequipping gear but just simple ilvl limit.Say what you want about scaling, but 40K warr + a boosted hpal vs literally any newcomer? Forget it.
Blizzard's view on their low population, dead classic servers... "NO MORE BOOSTING,NO MORE BOTS! Nerf it to the ground!"Blizzard's view on retail, "MORE BOOSTERS, MORE PAY TO WIN, $$$$$$$$$$$$"
Oh man, I'm -SOOOO- glad I decided to wait to do RBGs til after next week's patch.... *sarcasm*
lol - another blunder blizz GG
For this season. I don't think they should change it. But for next season, it seems like a better (more even) distribution of rewards to me. I think it's pretty wild how intense the comments around a speculative 150 rating change for 2 Tmog rewards have got. I don't think the % of players who achieve 1.8k is even very large and I'm dubious the amount of people who climb that high for the sake of Tmog should even be a factor here given how niche that type of player would be.
Blizzard, there was literally no issue with 1800 getting every piece for an elite set. Here y'all go creating another problem which didn't need fixing. Leave it alone and revert it back to 1800.
Damn 1950 is impossible for 90% of the people me included. I'm glad when I reached the 1800s nowadays
last time I tried pvp I barely reached 1200 and got banned for one month, to this day still with no clue why. I'll never ever touch pvp again
If this is intentional its an awful change, especially mid season and with practically no warning. I was slowly making my way to 1800 these past few weeks to get the transmog but if it suddenly changes to 1950 I won't bother. I really hope it's some kind of mistake.
Well there goes my incentive to jump back into pvp. 1.8k was easy enough to get, just a little investment in time, I don't feel like having to grind out another 150 rating on alts for xmog.
I mean, elite sets were 2000 rating until this xpac. Than after reaching that rating, you had to spend conquest on each piece.
If you can't hit 1950 for an elite set, then you probably don't deserve it. Just a thought. Stop complaining and just play the game.
itt, people who never realized elite sets were 2k before (even higher back in cata iirc).
