I'm liking how you organized everything. Nice job, Perculia. <3
Have to agree, good job. Thank you.
AwesomeBye porn, hello Transmogs
Hey. Can you please post a transmog set for embrace of the twisting nether? It doesn't show up a lot of places because it's a crafted item that can no longer be crafted. As a hunter blacksmith with the item I would love to build a set around it but the usual tools aren't helping.
I don't think that item has a ton of matching pieces, so we couldn't really make a set page for it, sorry.
Small correction. On the DK guide, there's a cloth set, on the Tier 10 tab. The Bloodmage regalia set.
Looks great! Definitely going to use this.EDIT: saw an error here on the "All Transmog Sets for Druids" page. The Tier set listed (Deathdealer's Embrace) is the Rogue Tier 2.5 set. The actual Druid Tier 2.5 set is: Genesis Raiment.
Perculia another smash-it-out-of-the-park feature! Thank you! The Wowhead crew keeps doing great stuff.
Great job as always Perculia. Some guild mates and I were talking the other day about the new gear changes and how your gear will change stats according to your spec so you only need one set rather than one for each spec. The question of transmog of course came up. I have a different transmog for each spec, as do a lot of others. This may be answered somewhere already and I have just not found it yet, but has it been decided or worked out about different looks for different specs on one set of gear?
A lot of my friends wish they could also keep distinctive transmogs for each spec. I think reducing the amount of transmog looks was an unintended side effect of the gear system, but with all the new item tech challenges, I'm not sure they have the resources to tweak how transmog sets work too.
Great Job! :)
would be nice if you could pick a race.. since sets look completely different depending on race, and some classes aren't even available for humans. i.e. my panda shaman looks nothing like your human screenshots
We've written a guide, linked in this blog and all the other class transmog guides, that provides an overview of how to use the transmog set tools including the database. We've also written recent guides to how to use the talent calculator and the modelviewer being integrated in the database, since we've gotten feedback that users had trouble with these tools. We think those have gone well and I agree that a guide to filtering would be useful, especially to new/boosted 90 players.People like to look up information in different ways, some people will prefer the polished presentation of a guide to filters. Some data lends itself very well to guides, such as a list Timeless Isle flag quests vs a guide with a simple map to Timeless Chests, and we think for this topic, guides are absolutely appropriate. This isn't a new outlook either--we've been adding and maintaining transmog guides for ~3 years now alongside the database.
