How is this doubling down or trying to fix systems with systems? It's just one more legendary. People like their buzzwords too much. I have plenty to whine about too, but I don't whine just to whine.
Love it! Very boring legendary for necro druid though. Excited to see what they do with Venthyr monk.
So many unknowns does not look good for this coming out anytime soon.
This was all I needed to hear. I can't fool myself into continuing to linger just because things might be different around the corner. That they might listen for a sec. Their stubbornness on linking Covenants with player power genuinely feels spiteful and, honestly, all passion for the game feels utterly lost. Really hope to see things trend in the other direction soon, but I fear the damage is done.
Maybe it's time to shake things up internally on the WoW team and move away from Ion for the next expansion. This expansion started off really strong during the early alpha/beta phases where they really took communication and open-dialogue seriously but now they are just going back to their old ways, yet again, doubling down on stupid systems no one likes. We've also had almost no communication or dev discussions since release. I get covid is a thing, but as a software engineer and manager myself, the impact isn't that big if the team is well organized. In some ways, working remotely has boosted the productivity of my team.
Pull the dang rip cord already covenants are a complete disaster just like legion legendarys don't make me wait till the end of yet another expansion before you fox it!
LOL lot of these are already screaming pick me, I'll be even more meta and force you to make a new leggo, pick meeeeeee!
It's mainly due to how broken a lot of these are potentially, now that isn't to say they won't change a lot from now until the actual launch of 9.1. Right now though some of them are extremely broken based on the text, and aim to just make meta's more cut and dry, like the druid one in its current form is screamingly broken.
So you are going to remove the timegated switching between covenants too yeah? since people will have to swap to the new meta covenants after the legendries buff the &*!@ outta some of them
Instead of whining about how covenant min-maxing is ruining the game, how about you just get better at the game so you don't have to min-max. On my main I've done all 4 covenants and it really didn't matter which one I went with ultimately. Obviously for druid pve nightfae is really good but I was very competitive with the other 3 as well. If you're someone who solely min-maxes then you should really just stop playing the game if you're just going to whine about the choices you've forced yourself to make.
