well at least its not Sylvanas. I can live with this I guess
You know...not the most terrible idea and it kinda makes sense for a Kyrian to do it....
Actually did not see that coming! i was betting on Sylvanas
well its not sylvanas then like many where speculating
Good! Was rooting for the guy for a long time now. Really sucked he didn't get the wings before.
Agreed, I'm happy it's not Sylvanas. But I gotta say, I never expected Pelagos to become the new Arbiter. Seems to come out of no-where, a little. It's not a character that has been featured A LOT of the end-game (unless you're Kyrian).
I'm glad they're doing something with him. I've been wondering why he's been a peon for so long at this point. Kleia getting wings before Pelagos sucked.
In what way has he earned this at all? Even as a kyrian i haven't seen him do hardly anything except be nearby while I did all the work, he didnt even go into the dungeons with me. Almost anyone in the shadowlands is more qualified, why not someone like the primus? If blizz did this just because he's trans thats fine, but they should still write out the story in a way that he earns it, dont just give him godly powers for the sake of inclusivity.
Hooray for not Sylvanas, but a massive "HUH?" for throwing a trivial side character like Pelagos into such an important role. Surely there were a few dozen other NPCs who could take up that mantle. This also heavily spoils that we actually win against the Jailer, which is a bit disappointing. Not like this expansion had good lore to begin with, but still. The real Arbiter not just waking up is also a kick in the teeth; what a waste of a cool model.
Very unexpected, I hope the 9.2 campaign will flesh out the character a bit more (if you're not Kyrian, you've basically never seen him).I really like Pelagos though, and thinks it could make sense for him to become the new Arbiter if the story leads to it correctly. Still better than Sylvanas.I would have been very disappointed to not seen him get his wings before the end of the expac... I guess that's even better. It could make sense too. Ascending is a purely Kyrian process that doesn't require the same personality or skills or training as being the Arbiter of the afterlife.Overall, colour me intrigued.
Kinda Weird but ok I guess
Does seem a bit random, I do like the choice but it does feel like it was meant to be Sylvanas before Blizzard saw how many people guessed it and hated it.
I like Pelagos a lot and am not upset by this, but it seems kind of weird we're just giving up on the current Arbiter.
WHAT? I'm glad it not Slyvanas but ... no!
Really, they just take a character that was a nobody and make him an arbiter? Just our average Joe that didin't do much? Damn, this doesn't feel like lazy writing. Shame that the game is done for anyway.
Phew, I'm fine with this. I didn't want Sylvanas = Kerrigan ending in SC2.I mean the whole Zerith Mortis setting is just too similar to SC2 Ulnar; the First One as Xel'Naga.I do wonder tho how Kyrian Soulbind would be justified...
Feels like the direction the story has been going all along is that there should NOT even be an Arbiter? Dispassionate logic locking people into their infinite afterlives for a tiny finite number of acts they committed in life is the whole cause of all the problems in Shadowlands...
