The Wrynn Dynasty ends at Anduin, as other Wrynns are not political figures. The Alliance will be ruled just like the Horde now, by a council. That's because monarchies are a thing in the past, and we now embrace democracies. And so, Blizzard will hold massive online campaign for all players to vote for the next Alliance and Horde presidents. It will involve some well-known faces and some new characters, and a lot of animated video campaigns. This campaign will bring WoW to the mainstream media, and even non-gamers will hear about this game, some of which will turn into subscribers.
If it's connected to Jaina's 'clever girl' moment regarding Anduin and Sylv is there, I wouldn't be surprised if it showed Sylv and Anduin made a deal to betray the Jailer.
No... the Void is hitching a ride in Anduin. And now, the Void has access to the Maw and the Jailer.
It's brutal, when we have to mourning Sylvanas... make us believe that we must mourning the Boy King. This is supposed to be the final moment of Sylvanas, one of the most iconic Blizzard character, and she ended up oscured by a ghostly Anduin figure that, at the moment means nothing... It's supposed to be the Sylvanas moment. ;_; Don't worry about Anduin, he will be saved due to the hint left into the Compass...
It is a memory. Jaina can activate items to show memories. He isn't dead. It is more so them finding out he has become whatever he is. I'd say DK, but that isn't correct because he temporarily came back.
I really don't think they'd do anything to Anduin, but if they do, just for the shock value or whatever other reason(s)? It'll be the nail in the coffin of WoW for me. Shadowlands itself was bad enough. This would really seal the deal. I've been playing since release and I'd be sorry to see it go, but the game has been cascading downhill at breakneck speed after SL's release, anyway, and I'm genuinely tired of the devs repeatedly giving me the middle finger.
It looks to me that the cutscene is no more than a memory being viewed. Maybe they found a way to see the memories of a person by using something that the subject holds dear. Maybe this is what happened after that cutscene where Sylvanas herself was presented with a choice. And here we'll find out if Anduin was forced or if he accepted his fate willingly...
Anyone getting a weird vibe with the missing models
Anduin will likely be saved with the help of Varian. No way are we going to be helping a dominated evil Anduin in the SHADOWLANDS and NOT have Varian show up.
anduin and sylvanas are having a stare off. dont blink!
