Its still too hard to solo
I follow this guide to the letter, yet I die sometimes after I take the portals from the flowers
I managed to do this solo on my 225 fury warrior after several attempts. It's very tight, but do-able. I hope that further adjustments to the encounter will come in the future to account for classes with less means of movement speed increases. Also if you have a tendency towards motion sickness like I do, I strongly recommend taking dramamine or bonine before setting out to do this encounter. It's a very frenetic pace on top of all the hopping to and from places. If you don't take medicine before-hand I can promise you'll find yourself spending the evening having to lie down.
A good change.
It's still too tight IMO, I am struggling with the crystals given I'm on a paladin and we have zilch in movement, I feel like the paraxis mechanic needs to have the timer nerfed or removed, that's literally why runs on this fail given its such a tight timer still. That's what's been holding me back honestly, I got the first part down pat, but the rest is just too tight still.EDIT: This guide seems to be wrong maybe, I had a friend come along so one was on the ground and then I was dealing with the crystals. According to the guide she should of casted twice after the paraxis. Yet she didn't and the second crystal set killed us because I simply did not have enough speed to kill all 4 again with the debuffs knocking me up and so forth. Still too tight, still extremely anti legacy content and needs more nerfs to the timers and spawn rates possibly, as another component was by the time i was done with the crystals, the dogs were out of control and beating on her till she died, even with the double clear she does. It really sucks because she drops the chest piece I want for the set, yet I simply refuse to grind my balls on something that is poorly designed for a t-mog set I can simply live without.
Even following these I still can't finish this encounter, she just dies while i'm clicking the last crystal.
This guide doesn't seem to work. I have tried several times to follow exactly the suggested path and kills, but I died before I reached the 4th crystal.
Seems this has been broken, Eonar is not casting life force while on the Paraxis anymore, tried multiple times.
Even as an outlaw rogue venthyr/night fae, the mobility still isn't enough to get the crystals and back to the mobs
I'm guessing all the posts from people claiming it's unsoloable are doing something wrong. It's still very tight, but is definitely doable. 1) Do not use any movement abilities that aren't free. Eonar's ability gives you a movement speed buff when you land, so never use a movement speed buff until that expires. Start encounter and use Eonar's ability to fly to entrance door. You will get there before anything spawns. Kill the first wave of felguards. Kill the big devastator that spawns.2) Move toward the edge of the entrance platform to get closer to the next destination. Use the ability to fly to the top platform above Eonar. You will probably need to land on the very edge halfway up the ramp leading up there. You can clip through the legion spaceship, it doesn't interfere with Eonar's ability. Continue to not use movement abilities. Kill the fel guard and devastator that spawn (2 enemies total). You don't need to kill them exactly as they spawn, if they move out a bit you will kill them on the path to your next destination.3) Jump down to where the felhounds you left spawning at the main entrance will just be reaching Eonar's essence. Kill them all.4) Important part I think many people are missing. There is a sort of horizontal jump pad right next to Eonar's essence. If you walk through, it will shoot you about 20 yards away where there will be a pack of felhounds running through. Kill exactly one felhound to trigger Eonar's special ability that will purge enemies while you are on the ship. Use the jump pad to shoot back as quickly as possible. 5) You're now at the part where you want to use a movement ability when it makes sense, after Eonar's movement speed buff drops. Run through the teleporter and destroy the enemy there with as few GCDs as possible while orienting yourself to face the south. Run to the first crystal, use it, then use your personal speed buff to get to the second crystal. Click the second crystal while orienting yourself, then use Eonar's ability to shoot diagonally to the north side and land on the crystal. Use the crystal, and you should still have the movement speed buff to get to the other North Crystal and use it. While you are doing this Eonar should be using her ability to clear out all the enemies below. You will know you didn't kill enough enemies if she dies while you're on the ship. You need to have all 4 crystals broken before the Final Doom ability cast gets off (you can see it on the right of your screen).6) Final Doom will turn to Purge, and you need to get off the ship. Take the north exit from the ship and use Eonar's ability from the balcony to reach the essence, then again to shoot to the entrance ramp that leads down to Eonar. From there you will be above a devastator. Kill it there if you're ranged, if you're melee and you don't have a personal ability to leap down you can wait for the Eonar ability to recharge to get down and kill him.7) Clean up any enemies in close proximity, use Eonar's ability to jump back to Eonar's essence, and guard her during the last phase. A second ship may appear but you will finish the encounter before it gets its ability off.Good luck!
There's really not enough time to do all of this, her health is too low
9.2.5 News: Encounter still sucks eggs.
For anybody doing this now, you may need to go back up to the ship again and do the crystals a second time. I followed the above guide to a T, but i was still dying when i came down from the ship the first time after clicking on the crystals. What i ended up doing was coming down, killing everything, and then going back up a second time to click the crystals, and come back down again.
Impossible as a DK to complete on mythic difficulty.
Eonar wont spawn for me. Bug?
wowhead should add a way to "favorite" a guide to quick access.
