Shattered Legacies cinematicChapter 4 of the Eternity's End campaign

Uther: Tell the others what you told me.
Sylvanas: You all have witnessed the Jailer's power firsthand. Without the means to resist his domination, we have no chance against him.
Sylvanas: Anduin may be the key. If we can save him from--
Jaina: You dare speak of freeing him after all you have done?
Uther: Sylvanas held the mourneblade that bound him. Her presence may help free Anduin from the Jailer's grasp.
Jaina: I will never trust her.
Uther: Then trust in me.
Jaina: Always, Uther.
Jaina: Very well. We will prepare to enter the Sepulcher and save Anduin... together.

Jaina's 180, indeed... but also the Jailer just displaying such godly amount of arrogance thinking he doesn't even need to crush the player camp, which obviously is what leads to his demise.
Big bads being arrogant is always a thing, but this is just stupid of him, after ALL the planing he has been doing (which arguably might go back to the corruption of Sargeras himself when he sent Dreadlords to subtly corrupt our favorite Titan), to just go "eh, let's leave that to chance, we're too big to fail, now".
Which is another god damn cliché thing with big bads who we learn retroactively are behind all the big calamities happening for thousands of years because they have a 759328 step plan for universal domination.
I'd love for such a big bad to one day say "oh yeah, that thing I did 10.000 years ago, I actually had no idea it would work out so well for me, I just did it because it seemed like fun, I like to mess with people".Comment by Skunkyy"I WILL NEVER TRUST YOU, SYLVANAS!"

The second one too actually, the Jailers infinite army consists of two trash cans and a couple NPCs from the SL introduction questline. This lore writing is at its pinnacle everything gets forced without any proper reasoning towards it. No wonder the lore is in the toilet.

What's even more shameful the main lore narrative writer was from the Everquest team and joined in 2015 the goblin barely has any knowledge of the game lore itself let alone playing the game himself or for extensive hours.
