They already said tBC will be #SomeChanges so my guess is this Leeway will go away
Since we are on this, get rid of 20 yard nameplate range and make it like 40 or 60 please.
"Blizzard already removed 400 millisecond Spell Batching" - no it hasn't yet, it's sitting on PTR for months, unknown why.
It’s Outland - not Outlands, the Outlands, or the Outland.
Will probably be gone, or at least reduced. Doesn't seem like Blizzard intends on keeping old mechanics caused by technical limitations, though as far as I'm aware, recent builds (post-MoP) increased movement lag greatly (it takes about 1 second to see your movement in another window with 50ms ping) - so quite not sure what to think about that.
There is melee leeway in Shadowlands, it is just not this bad in general and Taurens make it a lot worse.
https://youtu.be/xvM6pSYGj-A?t=950cow leeway in the game back in the dayorcs resisting stun even though other players used stuns on them. Humans finding stealthies even though other players are stealthed. Gnomes getting out of immobilize even though players used such abilities on them. Undead getting out of charms and fears even though players used charms and fears on them. Night elves drinking even though they are stealthed. Taurens hitting through pillars even though the other player is abusing pillar humping. WARLOCKS MANA DRAINING THROUGH WALLSYou do not want pillar humping resto druids running in cheetah so you can't catch them and doing it with continuous hots running on everyone. I was there, not fun. working as intended and it works just fine.
Tauren and male Draenei hitboxes are large enough to stand out of range of some melee mechanics due to how they work. Part of why this was unified shortly after BC
Not sure if leeway will go away this time because melee are already going to be complaining about PVE content being unfriendly to them. Add taking away leeway on a fight like Archimonde and it'll sound like a 747 taking off.Blizzard has shown a willingness in recent years to make separate rules for PVP vs PVE so it's possible we could see it go away.
#$%^ this leeway really, when you are running from a melee as a hunter they are %^&*ing shooting you at 15 fcking yard man
