but how do they....you know.......?
Before anyone decides to spend money on a race switch for the racials try and remember the Dark Iron fiasco, the overpowered racials they go out the gate with can and WILL be nerfed to the ground within weeks or months.Honestly the only reason I somewhat tolerate this nightmare fuel being added to the AR roster is because they open up the possibility of future allied races that have Xmog restrictionslike naga, Tol'vir, sethrak, etc... with any luck this will pay out in the end, we just have to grit our teeth and wait.
You can't change the style or color of the diaper? Shame.
Vrykul as next allied race please!
Ya know. we have this ancient, viking-like, badass people just waiting to be made an allied race with a perfect background to allow a neutral choice, making both alliance and horde happy while making something cool, like the first neutral race since pandas, but what do we get? Diaper gnomes and furry goblins.
I wonder how many of these potatoes i will see rolling around after they're available. I have a feeling vulpera will be a lot more popular, but i've no doubt some people will love being a cyberspud
Females have not one but 3 different victory roll style hair cuts. XD
i'm sorry but mechagnomes has to be the least thought-out race in the game. WHAT ABOUT GNOMES but like we jut re-texture the limbs..... like, sure we have lightforged and the highmountain tauren but with the mechagnomes it's just........ what makes mechagnomes different from an injured gnome lmao it's disappointing because i already know that only a handful will play mechagnome and that's one slot wasted for the alliance allied races. like damn. the vrykul and the sethrak are literally there. even the saberon like why not just throw em back in. it's such a waste. but sigh, while it's not enough to make me want to play one, i have to say those female hairstyles are gorgeous though. that long hair with the twirly bangs? victory rolls? i kinda want them to recycle those to humans or draenei but at the same time, i don't want to contribute more reason for people to avoid this new race altogether lol. pity.
These are my least favorite race by far, but I'm happy for those that like them. Not everything has to appeal to everyone. I've got plenty of races that I like to play and I'm excited for vulpera. Plus it looks like there are some good candidates in Shadowlands so hopefully we'll get at least one new pair of races sometime during it. :)
>No Pink Hair>Only one color heritage armor, so it clashes if you use the other 2 color bodies. Unplayable. What's stupid is the other 2 colors of Heritage Armor exist, they just aren't available to players. :/ https://i.imgur.com/uzj5rUn.png (Compiled image from wowhead)Mag'har get 3 Heritage Armor colors, if ANY Alliance race deserved them, it's Mechagome.
From what I heard, Alliance got large kul tiran humans to throw a bone to the Vrykul lovers. And an AR slot for Forsaken and Worgen is still missing. Ive seen speculation that they might come in 8.3.5 or 9.0. Could possibly be related to Genn and Tyrande going rogue for forsaken hunting, which might cause the lightforged undead to appear and possibly stop them from going all genocide on baseline forsakenIf you remember this: https://www.wowhead.com/sethrak-race-in-voldun with Sethrak using player specific animations. Vulpera was found to have similar animations. Though the significant work that went into serious Vulpera customization was a pretty dead giveaway for them, so Sethrak is quite a long shot still.Since now that Vulpera proves that you dont need to be physically related to your parent race, but just holding a similar size slot. It could open for Sethrak being the Worgen equivalent.
