Halondrus the Reclaimer
Anduin Wrynn
The Jailer
Great changes!
The HC anduin nerfs are kinda weird since atm his main difficulty comes from how horrible he is in small raid sizes. Just scaling damage and health values doesn't really make the fight harder or easier when you get 3 domination words, 3 stars and a barrier at the same time with only 1 healer to deal with it.
Phase changes were especially problematic at Halondrus, I thought any change would happen there, like despawn the relics during the chase. Oh well! Won't miss it, any second less of hearing my raid leader shout over a wipe is a win.
I'll never cease to be amused by players who've barely attempted LFR versions of these bosses crying foul about nerfs to bosses they never had any intention of killing anyway.
Noooo we were progressing on this boss and made great prog last week. Now it's just going to fall over :-(
i tought the "Massive nerfs" was some clickbait but they werent lying lol Holonrus is now brain death WR 2k guild material
meh the race is over so i dont mind the nerfs its all about getting the mount from the jailer anyways
I am glad that I stopped raiding a while ago. Once you out gear the raids (or clear them after massive nerfs like above), it becomes super boring tedious repetitive week in week out until you either take break or next patch comes in.
edit: double
Well that Halondrus nerf is a BIT much, don't ya think? If you were gonna do heavy nerfs but still keep it relatively hard, I would have done this:Time required for Volatile Charges to trigger a Charge Detonation increased to 30 20 seconds (was 10 seconds) in Mythic difficulty.Charge Exposure duration increased to 32 24 seconds (was 16 seconds) in Mythic difficulty. And keep the rest of the nerfs the same.
I rather liked the raid buff you got in some raid (can not remember which one), each week it got stronger and if you did not want the buff you could talk to an npc and turn it off.
People crying over them nerfing bosses that damn well deserve one lmao. I get it if you've wiped on the boss 100-200+ times and now it'll just fall over, but the problem with the game is the fact that mythic bosses are so challenging. One person messing up a mechanic and its a wipe most of the time. Wonder why practically nobody wants to raid mythic? It's cause nobody wants to spend their precious time dealing with the 1-2 people making the same mistakes. And I get it, people make mistakes. I do too, but they tune these bosses for world first raiders which isn't healthy for the game. Raid mechanics have just gotten increasingly harder ever since Cataclysm. And I know people want challenging content, but make the last 2-3 bosses super challenging if anything. Not the 6th boss out of the 11 in the raid. Any guild that could kill Mythic Halondrus in his prenerf state would literally faceroll the next few until they get to Anduin. And then Anduin is harder than the next few! The tuning on some of these bosses legit make no sense. And for the bruhs that are ready to smash their hand through their monitor reading this comment, no I havent raided mythic sepulcher so yea my opinion doesn't matter.
