Majordomo Selistrafirst zone we play throughold I'm confused. Are you a dragon or a vulpera?

Well, that is a curious question.

Can a person only be a single thing? I have not found that to be true.

In fact, I have found it far more likely for one to be many things simultaneously.

You, I can tell, are far more than just a dracthyr, or just an evoker.

And I am still more than just a dragon. Well, I am still a drake, technically...

But you see me now in my chosen visage, a vulpera. And I hope that, in time, you will see the rest of me as well.

I am far more than "just an" anything.What does a "majordomo" do?

As majordomo, I am entrusted by Queen Alexstrasza to oversee much of the day-to-day operations of our dragonflight. I see her orders are carried out swiftly and appropriately.

I respond to distress signals, such as the one that Cadet Sendrax errantly sent just now.

They did not pay that character's identity any respect, no backstory or interesting tale of struggle to reach realization... No hero's journey. Just wiping his memories and then getting promoted to being a literal god. They brought up his identity as a form of tokenism to collect brownie points and pat themselves on the back. As someone who actually cares about this stuff, I find that sort of rainbow capitalism to be infuriating.

They did do a bit better with Chromie, where they put more effort into the writing and it made more sense. So I'm not totally hopeless here, but still concerned. If they want to try again with this NB dragon, OK sure, try again. It seems close to Sinestra (black dragon) or more so the green dragon's methods of naming females (ending in -ra like Ysera, Melithra, Alysra, Velithra, etc.)

It'd make more sense if her name was Selistrasza, and 'Selistra' was just a nickname, much like a lot of the red dragons (and bronze, to be fair) cut off the -strasza/-strasz/-dormi/-dormu part of their name.
