My favorite zone would be Uldum. Why? just look at all the other comments and you'll understand why. (kinda hard to come up with something new to say).
Vashj'ir. I loved the look, the story and the playstyle of being underwater.
Hard to choose yust one zone, because there is many great ones. But If I have to choose one, I go Sholazar Basin. The Rivers Heart, the battle between Oracles and Frenzyheart Tribe, the burned out areas that cross over in the green its all so epic. And then "Garden of Life" comes on, it yust makes this place real special.I know that score is used in other zones too, but for me Sholazar + Garden of Life is real epic.(one of my favourite scores on WOTLK music CD)
My favorite zone is the Blasted Lands simply because of the piece of literature that inspired it! When I was reading the book, after I started playing WoW, I said to myself, omg this is exactly what the Blasted Lands is!
I guess if I had to pick one... probably Silverpine post-cataclysm. For a low level zone, it was incredibly fun and had an interesting chain that really shows how the Horde's ventures in Wrath really affected us after the expansion, as well as Garrosh's influence on the Forsaken as the new Warchief. Also, hanging out with Sylvanas was always a plus.
My favorite zone is Nagrand ... for the simple reason that in this world the green is increasingly damaged by man's technological progress, while in WOW, the green of Nagrand's lands persists and immortal lives over time. Those vast lands so green and beautiful, full of rocks pieces soar in the air (which remind me of the beautiful environments Na'vi) .... simply amazing.
Tirisfal Glades, hands down. I love the lore behind that area, the Forsaken fighting for "survival", the discrimination against them. Let's not forget Sylvanas and The Undercity, the only place where they feel safe.
My favorite zone was of course Icecrown. Back the the good ol days of wrath, it was the true test before level 80. You hit 77 and BAM you bought your Cold Weather Flying and manned it out there until you were 80. A land absolutely covered in mobs, (making it dangerous and therefore a good place for questing) brilliant use of phasing for the questlines, (you know it was self rewarding to set up the Argent Crusade's Vanguard and actually SEE the finished product) home of the most used daily hub around. (to this day I still do those dailies and encourage everyone I know to do them as well for the numerous rewards) and finally home of 2 very important lore wise raids. (Icecrown Citadel and the Trial of the Crusader, both having direct involvement with the defeat of Arthas who has been a legend since before this game was created.) You just can't beat Icecrown in thoe thoughts.oln
my favorite zone is zangermarsh, even before I played wow I would always tell my friend to go to that amazing mushroom place
I'm not sure. I have issues doing zones over and over again. I'm something of an altoholic, so I see a lot of content multiple times.I guess Dragonblight and Hyjal would be two of my favorites.
My favorite zone would have to be Dragon-blight, because of all the awesome looking dragons/battles between the dragons going on in that zone and the fact that the sanctums are there as well and they are fun to play :)
Winterspring. I'm not exactly sure why, but something about it just puts me at ease with everything. All my mains are goblin engineers, so I make heavy use of the transporter whenever things just seem too stressful. Must be all the snow and lack of players there.
