Hard to pick one, but i think i'll choose Nagrand, the music there, makes you magically travel, look into the infinite horizon and wilderness is breathtaking and the lore of the zone is very interesting too, find more about the orcs and the reunification of the mag'har to the Horde through the beautiful questchain was amazing, and after all, we had a lot of fun together with master Nesingwary there.
My favorite zone is Nagrand. No other area in the game could show the shattered destruction of evil while be such beauty.
Nagrand. Because that's where Simba was born. The ciiiiiiiiiiircle of liiiiiiiiiiife~
Duskwood before Shattering. Gloomy atmosphere really makes you feel there is something sinister going on. Slowly opening of the legendary Stalvan chain that made you visit several zones looking for clues about Stalvan's mysterious disappearence, finding Jitters only by using the clues provided in the quest text (Finding the Shadowy Figure) and discovering what caused the worgen curse, not to mention the mournful quest line of Mor'ladim's fate and the daughter who lived. Truly an epic zone filled with exciting and lorewise rich quests.
Orgrimmar main bank, pre-Cata. How many hours I spent idly bouncing from cover to cover and back. Or bouncing around on the spikes up top. Best building ever.
Nagrand. Lots of group quests quests, nice rewards and the start of the Ring of Blood-style quests. Great for my main's profession of leatherworking from the sheer number of beasts in the zone and overall nice look.
i'd go for barrens while in vanila WoW just because the barrens chat was just too funny just to read and with people always asking where is that man's wife question over and over again and get crazy answer every time it was just hilarious.
Zul'Drak, dungeons included. I'm a total troll nut; I have ten 80+ troll characters. And all of them HAD to level through Zul'Drak. The archatecture is amazing, down to the intricately carved statues you see everywhere, the several 'tiers', the once-perfect ornate walkways and fences, the amazing suspended-in-midair water canals. It's an eerily stunning zone,a perfect representative to what the Scourge can do to a whole civilization; what an amazing empire, now crumbling. It makes me want to see it when it was whole. It's the only zone I haven't gotten tired of yet.

I have always loved Howling Fjord ever since it came out. It just has a great feeling to it, with the music and the atmosphere.
My favorite has to be Darkshore. I fell in love with these NPCs before the Shattering & going back now is almost painful. There's alot of good stories here especially if you knew them before cataclysm.
Nagrand. One day I want to own a house there - or somewhere that looks a lot like it anyway. Other zones can have better individual quests or more interesting characters... but the orcs actually come from a place you'd want to move to and somehow I just can't resist that. Besides, Thrall's return to Nagrand has to be one of the most epic questchains ever ;)
I have to go with Vashjr because in the history of world of warcraft, there has never been an underwater zone where you can just quest. Its fabulous and its a great new zone for cataclysm. Awesome job blizzard!
Sholazar basin as always been my fave and also most confusing zone. I mean, I get the whole Titan constructed pillars littering the place keeping it all eco-stable in such a harsh area and such but it's right next to Icecrown, the frozen heart of the scourge, that chills has gotta trickle further than just the little avalanche bit surely. Even the outside of a greenhouse can frost over in winter.
My favorite zone has to be Tirisfall Glades...being the first zone I ever logged into on a Undead Rogue in Vanilla, and it just designates a time to me when the game was fresh and brilliant with unlimited potential. For asthetics, though, it has to be Crystalsong Forest. It's just got everything. Night Elf ruins, giant crystal trees.
Without a doubt, Nagrand. Less than normal gravity, a beautiful skyline and elites wandering everywhere. What's not to love?
For me it will always be Nagrand. Whenever I feel like enjoying the world instead of chasing after the latest gear, I go there and relax on the floating islands and waterfalls, or the Throne of Elements.
One of my favorite zones has always been and will always be Stranglethorn Vale. Everything from questing, to pure Troll Lore. The Wonderous Bloodsail Admiral title. This place had it all with the first set of chain beast killing quests, to the countless ganks occuring in Gurubashi and outside of Booty Bay. I always had fun in this zone no matter what I was doing. And the original ZG. What could be better?
