This hurts normal players too though.70 is pretty high in Cataclysm Engineering.
Who asked for this? It wasn't "OP", it wasn't a "must have". Again, with these arbitrary restrictions. Friction doesn't mean fun. I know they really wanna double down on flow game design theory, but this is so not the way to do it.

70 cataclysm is super-easy to reach. 60 x Obsidium Bar 30 x Volatile Air 360 x Elementium Bar 15 x Volatile FireThis is the mats needed for 75.Its nothing compared to the horrid Outland engineering.
Because engineering isn't useless enough as a profession already, lets make the few benefits it has even HARDER to use.
Ah, anti-bot, that makes sense. Now to find a good shopping list, looks like a some of recipes' levels got adjusted.
I get raising the bar to combat bots. I don't like it, but I'm annoyed with the botters there, not Blizzard. What I don't get is why they would make it harder to use than it is to make. What's the point of being able to make it at 40 if you can't use it until 70?
Why do I have this horrible feeling that man behind this is the same guy who invented affixes on Visions of N'zoth..... And those %!$#$#% flying worms during assaults
I don't get why people are all so happy about a change to this. I happen to take engineering on all my new alts partly for the loot-a-rang being so convinent. And now all the sudden I have like 40 alts that can't use their loot-a-rang and it's a pain in the ass to level it. Because some bots abused it? there are other ways to combat it that DON'T involve taking away things people already have. I don't understand why they would do this at all...Just ban the bots, don't punish innocent players.
It's okay change, in beta it wasn't working at all and every bit of trouble for botters is fine with me.Besides it opens up a market for a short time.
People are really applauding this move because it's anti-bot? You know what would be an even better anti-bot move? Banning the bots. Oh but they have no financial incentive to do that...
I’m frustrated, and wish they’d lower it to still be inconvenient for bots, but more feasible for players. But I do want multiboxers inconvenienced before they potentially ruin the game further. Ever since they changed from “niche thing a handful do” to “exploit” it’s been pretty bad.
Weird... the engineer is smart enough to craft something, but not yet smart enough to use it? Thanks Blizz. /eye-roll
10% down the way to get rid of multiboxers.Next steps:DR on loot while in a group outdoor.DR on loot accountwide when multiple are logged in.Crack down on the respawn algorithm. It turns into infinite mode once more than 2 players are active on mobs in an area.Farming nodes despawn for the entire account once they are looted. Skinning can't be done multi-boxing so it shouldn't be the case for the other 2 gathering professions.
