This bs was called out before classic even started.Glad to see that those who pointed out the streamer bs were absolutely correct. They are a special privilege class among players and if you happen to wrong them, they will claim that they have been targeted and blizzard will take their side. The same bs happened with baldmon a couple of times too, and now we are banning people for removing debuffs.
I'm honestly just sort of baffled that Classic WoW still manages to generate this much drama.
Yeah , if the streamer dont like pvp problems then dont play in a pvp realm , is sad to see how blizzard treat this people as special , when they only show their pathetic gameplay , at least other ones contribute with guides or analysis, i still dont understand why people follow them.
I don't get it? It's playing PvP. If you don't like an opposing player dispelling you of owning your sorry butt don't PvP. I don't PvP because, I admit, I suck at it. Also for the cry baby streamers that complain about something like this or sniping, stop streaming or don't PvP either. Seems that it's all part of the PvP experience to me.
This sounds worse than people who have Warmode on at max level than cry about getting ganked by other players. (Note: I agree, it's a *!@# move to gank someone 60 levels below you or whatever, but if they're high enough for you to get honor for it, they're fair game).
Not the first time a GM has done something like this in 2020 mark my words. They have power to take away your account by bans and other means, and they don't hesitate doing so. It's a shame you can't reach out to someone about it, as the only way to contact blizzard is by tickets they see. And if you get the same GM you have problem with responds, you are damn sure it doesn't get heard by anyone else. GM should be fired, there is a difference between PVP and greifing. PVP happened outside a raid again on a raid night - that's pretty much what happened and this guy used his friend who is a GM to abuse that player for pvping.
Who?
I don't really care about the rest of the article, let Blizzard sort it out, but is stream sniping really considered ban worthy in some games? I don't watch streamers so this is the first I'm hearing about it.If I was streaming a TCG like Hearthstone or MTG, got paired with someone that knew I was streaming, and they opened the stream to see what was in my hand, it'd be pretty silly for me to get mad about it since I chose to stream in the first place. If you're streaming any kind of PvP game it seems like it would inevitably happen and I don't see how it could ever be proven without a doubt.
Just make DMT and Songflower buff non-magic.
Sick of streamers complaining about "stream-sniping". You are CHOOSING to broadcast your gameplay, learn to deal with the consequences of that instead of whining.
@WhaleMobile Finally someone understands what has been happening to our guild rather than just stating your on a PVP server BS.I 100% believe he deserves a ban but not 6 months. This person does not deserve any compensation for lost time as it was merely hours of being banned. I will sumbit ticket after ticket after ticket until something is done about this. Also he has gold bounties on our guild and we can not play world content with out being endlessly harassed.
Another example of streamers getting preferential treatment over the rest of us "normies". You know that equality goes all the way from the little things like this to the big ones like racism right Blizz? You dont get to pick and choose who the rules apply to. The GM needs to be written up.
Multiboxing : keep playingDispel a buff : ban
