Can we just toss our garrisons in there ?
Khadgar - "I have determined that exactly 5,971 Ashbringers must be cast into this crater to heal Azeroth's wound. Fewer will not suffice. Any more would be absurd."Magni - "Aye."
You don't actually lose them. You just stop using them story-wise.Jesus christ people.
I wonder how many hows players have put into their artifact weapons just to get rid of them for lore sake. Thanks for testing out our game mechanic expirment guys, we want you do now test out and empower three more items for the next expansion, here is your reward for all those AP grinds now, take this T-shirt.
I`d like to ask something. When the new expansion drops and we level our new characters, will they be able to obtain the artifact weapons that we are currently using in Legion so that later we can use the transmog ?
I'm surprised how many people are upset about us "throwing our artifacts away after putting so much into them".It's just like any other piece of gear; at the end of the expansion, better stuff comes out and we replace it. The only difference is we've had the one weapon all expansion and it has some lore behind it.You didn't put that much more work into it than in previous expansions where you replace and upgrade weapons every raid tier, it was just more spread out and took a bit longer if you, for some reason, wanted to be cutting edge progressed.I can understand being upset at the lore or the various effects (I want them to make EVERY trait for EVERY spec baked into the class at 111) but being upset at essentially the same thing that happens every expansion in terms of gameplay?
and all I can say it is better than I expected seriously thought they'd just be thrown to the side like we've done with big plot elements in the past "examples garrosh killing someone for using a mana bomb, bolvar using the lich king powers to stop the scourge not make it stronger, etc" but I am still not a fan especially when it involves destroying one of the biggest horde symbols the doomhammer.
I have to disagree about Thrall. Who else but Illidan has killed a pit lord by himself in Warcraft lore.Another (minor) concern - when we give up our weapons, do we get demoted from Highlord, deathlord, grandmaster, etc.? Probably should happen as a dose of reality since we can't all be king.
Uh, no, we can't ASSUME that the Wound is changing in 7.3.5. We KNOW it's changing to this.
that makes sense for weapons used by goody two shoes classes like paladins, holy priests and druids. But the shadow priest weapon, all lock weapon, DH and DK weapons? Healing? Containing? What?
Regarding the last paragraph on artifact appearances, don't you also have to have to unlock the hidden PvP tint as well (win 10 rated BG's after unlocking the Mage Tower appearance)? I thought that part was going to become unavailable after Legion too.
