Hotfixes for April 3rd, 2024 - Primal Storm Locations, Trinket Fixes

Here you'll find a list of hotfixes that address various issues related to World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Burning Crusade Classic, Season of Discovery, and WoW Classic. Some of the hotfixes below take effect the moment they were implemented, while others may require scheduled realm restarts to go into effect. Please keep in mind that some issues cannot be addressed without a client-side patch update. This list will be updated as additional hotfixes are applied.

Hotfixes

April 3, 2024 Items

The following adjustments have been made to the Water’s Beating Heart trinket:

When an ally not equipped with Water's Beating Heart dispels a player affected by Primal Wellspring Water, the buff will correctly apply to the debuffed player.
The Primal Wellspring Water debuff is now visible to allies.
The shield value is now split between affected players.

Fixed an issue where the following trinkets were dropping at an incorrect item level:

Globe of Jagged Ice
Granyth's Enduring Scale
Inexorable Resonator
Tome of Unstable Power
Umbrelskull's Fractured Heart
Water's Beating Heart

Noblegarden

Increased the drop rate of the Noble Flying Carpet mount and added a bonus to the mount drop chance on the first defeat of Daetan on the account each day.

Primal Storms

Primal Storms should now appear with a more evenly distributed pattern across the zones of Dragon Isles.

Which begs the obvious question: why wasn't this the case originally?

It's one things for there to be RNG, but the key word there is the R: random. And over a large sample, that randomness would result in an even distribution.

It's just not clear, to me at least, why they would have biased the storm distribution to the Waking Shores and the Azure Span over Thasdrazus and the Plains.

At least it is hopefully fixed now, and with the two per spawn time, hopefully these achievements can be finished without have to take a week off from work and check in every three hours.Comment by Goblinaire"Primal Storms should now appear with a more evenly distributed pattern across the zones of Dragon Isles."

Its been mostly the Azure span and Waking shores that spawn soo much. Thaldrazus has had 3 in a row before it got a break and then spawned a 4th. Ohnaran plains has gotten every elemental storm with the exception to what most are waiting for...Firestorm. Blizz needs to reduce the spawn time in the Azure span. Still waiting on one in eu.
