Welp, that's a bit of a problem
Have noticed this specifically with white stats as opposed to the green ones. White spell power does nothing.

I got some of those "of healing" cloth hands with +62 on em (HUGE!) and someone in guild pointed out they werent working properly, so I ran some healing spam tests and it looks like the healing benefit is being added - rank 4 healing touch averaging at 380-400 without anything, but averages 420-440 with them on.
Meh. If they had the lower ones i would sell them. Now... i sell them so whatever^^
Seems to be fixed as of server reset just now :)
Just tested in-game with "Bloodscale Gauntlets of the Sorcerer" which lists +19 Spell Damage and Healing in the tooltip. However, equipping or un-equipping the item doesn't actually change the Bonus Damage stat on my character sheet. It does provide the Intellect and Stamina, though.
Thanks for posting this. Maybe Blizz will actually fix it now. I outfitted my Draenei Shaman in full outland greens and turns out I completely downgraded my character. What a mess. I don't even want to play until this is fixed.
i was wondering about this! I was in a BF run yesterday and 'of healing' greens seemed to be falling off non-existent trees in there, and i thought the amount of +healing on them seemed too much for a green item
EDIT: Ok now my low lvl item's suffix are completely messed up. It gives me 1 stam, 1 int/agi on several green items. And and fiery wrath items seems to be gone from vanilla content? They are pretty much extinct in the auction house. Also the attack power is really scuffed, items that would normally give 19 AP gives now 16 etc.
It's WAY worse than just this! This is huge and it's the tip of the iceberg random greens are rolling lower stats than they should and random blues are actually rolling higher! As an example everything with Attack Power suffix (pre-BC drops at least) have 1/2 as much AP as they should. I really hope Blizzard fixes all this, there must have been HUGE database copy issues or something. It's going to ruin a lot of stuff if it isn't fixed!
my boosted bear tank has a full set of outlands green items.....at lvl 58 i had 8500 hp/23% dodge/7600 armor fully buffed.....at lvl 60 i had 9700 hp/8600 armor/24% dodge fully buffed......doesnt seem right to me LOL
Antenna of Invigoration vs Lunar Wand +20 healing, Circlet of Faith Supreme Crown +64 healing, list goes on, did we not already know this?
The fact that the stats aren't applying is the bigger issue. Fact of the matter is, flat +anything items aren't as good as items that have other stats to support it. The values might be too high at lower levels but doesn't matter otherwise.
This is not "too much." This is the amount of +Healing they are supposed to have. The bug is that they don't work.
Wild cuz me and my friend where trying to figure this out then I came here and it was the first thing. Hope they fix it sooner rather than later.
Is this actually an issue?Does this same imbalance exist at level 70? Would a level 70 take a full set of +healing over a set of green/blues/epics (a mix) that are supported by Stam and Int? If not, why does this matter?
