They'll do the same to raiding, eventually. They sit on a trove of old content, why not revisit them on a rotation and call it a season? Infinite content with minimal development.
To some people these will be 8 new dungeons for the M+ rotation but for a huge chunk its gonna be dungeons we have already done.I've seen a huge issue since doing the S4 returning dungeons and its that peoplle expect players to just know what to do from the get go because they have done it and normally this causes people to get super agressive towards those who are less experienced and saying stuff like "this content has been out for X many years how do you not get how it works".I would much rather we have the 8 themed appropriate dungeons around the new content we have paid for that intertwines with the storylines and be on the same ground to learning those as everyone else who steps in, then if for season 2 they want to bring back dungeons take away the two least played and put in two old dungeons. My opinion is possibly different because I have played for a long time and done all the dungeons when current on there expansion so for me variety of older dungeons isn't what I'm looking forward to I want the new content, but I can understand that doing dungeons like this is reletively easy for them instead of creating new dungeons but I don't like the decision to hold 4 of the new dungeons away on mythic plus "for variety in season 2"

It would have been better if this article was labeled as speculation. None of this is confirmed and it is unfortunately lending to people thinking it is confirmed by this article. I had someone ping me on Discord last night swearing that this was all true, because they heard it here, rather than realizing absolutely nothing here was confirmed for Dragonflight season 1 (or any other upcoming season).
Gosh, these hosts of this video are so handsome and smart :3
