Guardians of the Dream Patch 10.2 Campaign Chapter 2: Druids of the Flame (Story Spoilers)

WARNING: Patch 10.2 Guardians of the Dream spoilers ahead!The Burning BarrowAshen SoilNot Yet LostNorana Morninglight: So you've arrived at last.
Norana: I had hoped to meet you, before things began in earnest.
Norana: An unassuming adventurer, free to act as you please.
Norana: We were free once. Unbound by the fetters of mortality. Perfect beings, blessed by the world's stewards.
Norana: We could find that world again, if you wished. An unending world, preserved in flame.
Norana: Ah, there you are. I was beginning to thjink you had lost your way.
Tyrande: Norana? You've set an entire barrow ablaze! What madness is this?
Norana: Teldrassil opened my eyes to the truth. We cannot save our people through force of will alone, Night Warrior.
Tyrande: Our people have seen enough forests burn, Norana. Whatever these fanatics promised you, it is not worth the toll the Firelands would exact.
Norana: I have simply promised these "fanatics" the birthright they are due. The fire will return us to the eternity that your draconic keepers continue to hold for themselves.
Tyrande: Wait, Norana! I--
Tyrande: I knew Norana once, Champion. I hesitated. It will not happen again.The Smoldering CopseBurning GroundGrim ReprisalTyrande: Immortality... is that truly what this is about? Is that the lie these zealots have sold them?
Tyrande: My people have suffered so much. I will not allow these sycophants to sell them a seeming eternity, built upon a pyre of innocent lives.
Tyrande: Disrupt their camp and break their ranks. I will seek out their leader - and show them how foolish it is to tempt the ire of Elune.Forlorn HopeThe Looming CinderTyrande: Though it pains me to say so, I understand how these zealots have swayed so many of my people to their cause.
Tyrande: The Kaldorei have suffered time after time. Tragedy after tragedy. The Druids of the Flame promised them relief. Purity. Salvation.
Tyrande: But it is a lie. We cannot burn away the scars we have suffered. They will forever be a part of us.
Tyrande: We must return to Amirdrassil. Our fight is not over. Not while Fyrall yet remains to threaten all we have worked for.

Merithra: If Fyrakk's aim is to take the tree, why is he holding back?
Merithra: And why place his troops so far from his goal?
Vyranoth: Fyrakk craves power. The power to subjugate.
Vyranoth: Whatever he is planning, it is a means to this end.
Alexstrasza: We must go, observe his soldiers, and learn what they are up to.
Merithra: But Queen Alexstrasza, I must--
Vyranoth: Fyrakk is my responsibility now.

Seeing the Night Elves turn back against everything they believe in makes me wanting for the Horde to have their own Theramore/Teldrassil moment, so that they'd know how it feels.Comment by Dakan1The "ire" of Elune, that gave me a chuckle. Better watch out, she's gonna sacrifice everyone again, that'll show em. Seeing the Night Elves turn back against everything they believe in makes me wanting for the Horde to have their own Theramore/Teldrassil moment, so that they'd know how it feels.Comment by Kcoplin

Another thing that has been talked about before, but comes to light even more after playing something like BG3 is the way NPCs talk to the player in what is considered an RPG... This is the Emerald Dream... KIND OF a big deal for the story and significance of the game and I dont think its unfair to have very high expectations as players that they will deliver an amazingly polished and satisfying experience.
But instead, Tyrande talks to you like you are a random adventurer even when playing as a night elf. Its so disappointing that mayor NPC dont have extra lines of dialogue, affection or respect towards the player even when you have been aiding them in so many situations. Or if you were the opposite faction, some level of distrust. Ironically enough, Lilian Voss talks to you on a personal level calling you by your name even kinda hinting that you could be her friend too just like Shandris is now, no matter if horde, alliance or race. When my character has seen her probably like 4 times in the past 10 years.
