These are cute and simple. I dig it.
Better lipsyncing than the ingame cutscenes by a mile
This is on the same level as the Garrosh cinematic, I mean that as an insult to blizzard and a compliment to you
I dont really think that many cut scenes is good. The first time going in, yeah... but when youre repeating the raid you just skip them every time. I actually prefer the NPCs running in with us while talking amongst each other so that it doesnt interrupt the game play and we miss out on it every time since most people will obviously skip them after the first time. With that said, the cinematics are well done!
Can Blizzard just hire more people like this? Those were great!
It's simple in-game quality, but still better angles/shots and overall clarity. This is the bare minimum Blizzard should put out.I'd prefer better non-cutscene interactions though. Like they should be able to better position us during normal questing to hear voiced character dialogue etc, without the use of cutscenes. If they find it too tricky though, this is what the cutscenes should look like Bare Minimum.
The moment when some random player makes better introduction cutscenes with ingame assets than activision-blizzard, a multi-billion-dollar company with dozens of devs and animators capable of doing this. These things should be in game by default and not some fanmade content. It's not super fancy, but it definately gets the story delivered better than just some chatbubbles ingame.
Good at mouth movements for sure, but the rest needs some more work...
Bolvar seems to have taken some xtc.
They're good cutscenes, but their faces... they look like a kid playing with action figures. Needs some improvement, but I think Felimations has amazing potential!
I like very much!
The fact that they are lip synched shows it really doesn't take much. Blizzard is just actively choosing not to do it.
I actually like it more the way it is in game. When its not a cutscene i feel like it is more natural and it happens before me as i watch.
how are fans making better videos than blizzard, what is going on?
This just proves that Blizzard doesn't give a damn, and hasn't for years.I doubt this cost the creator millions to make and months to do, and it's still better than anything we have in-game that's not full CGI.
Ofc you can put them anywhere you want, but during raid those things just happens in front of us. Not every NPC appearance needs a cutscene.
Thanks so much for this Paryah :)Just for some context, I make these for my guild's mythic boss kill videos. Just for fun pretty much. I definitely agree with those saying that making everything a cutscene would be too much. Thanks for all the kind comments. :)
