I really enjoy all of these articles showcasing others creativity! Keep them coming!
Love these kinds of posts. Always amazing to see the talent for making stuff that people have with various means.
Meh....its mine craft. Do it in Valheim, and then I'll be impressed :P
Yeah, I mean, the post about Thunderbluff in UE4 was REALLY impressive. This... not so much. Elysian Hold isn't a very big place to begin with, and Minecraft doesn't really allow for a lot of detail in design.I objectively built better Elysian-Hold-like structures floating above water in Creativerse or Boundless (look up "Raxxian Sanctuary" on Youtube). Just have to find a game with more assets to build stuff.
These are two different art styles that shouldnt be compared.. This is amazing work! and the creator should be proud and not listen to this negativity from people who wouldnt know how to paint a stick figure well..Good work and keep it up! :)
we need a daytime screenshot in the hold
looks way better in WoW
It's the culture of critique, driving people to tear one another down. I do not understand why so many enjoy this more than appreciating whatever is good about something.
"It's never night in Bastion..." Inky potions exist.Maybe I haven't been there often enough, but I don't think this is very accurate or well done.
Grats on the achievement. But... being honest. Basic shape is the same but there is very little detail. It just sorta resembles Elysian Hold at best. The main area, where is the Anima conductor? The Reservoir? The statues of Kyrian? The things that make Elysian Hold unique and identifiable. It's missing a lot of large recognizable details. We aren't even talking small things like the gold patterned floor design, which really would be impressive to somehow replicate here. It objectively lacks a lot of detail. This could be Elysian Hold or it could be Valhalla or it could be Gallifrey for the shape is very general and not very distinct.
Man i love these, especially when they're built in minecraft. Makes me sad I lost my Halfhill Market/valley of the four winds rendition due to harddrive failure
That's pretty neat! I love seeing these recreations in other games. I've seen some absolute great versions of wow stuff in minecraft. Someone made a pandaria one with the farmers market area that was really cool
