Many people, me included INITIALLY, like and liked to give this game a bad rap. "Just a reskin of a chinese mobile game." etc. But the more I see from it, the more I think that this might be turning into an actual unique and content-rich mobile game. Riot showed with Wild rift, LoR and TFT that it's possible to make great mobile games that don't feel cheap.I love Diablo, and thus, I hope and wish for that this game will turn out so much more than what we initially might have thought of it.
I hate mobile gaming. And i will not play this game. I have never seen a mobile game that is not intensly scummy and preying on people who cannot control their spending. For example children or Teens. Gotcha mechanics. Fomo. P2W. Everything. On top of that mobile gaming is always weirdly clunky with touch screens only. The ONLY reason to make mobile games is to make buttloads of money. Fair enough. But one of them could do it without coming off EXTREMLY greedy. This game has allready damaged Blizzards reputation. Only shadowed by the whole debacle last year. If this succeeds they will ferry the finidngs over to the other games making everything even worse for money.People allready start to excuse MTX in MMOs. Wow Token, Mogry Station, Lost Arks bull%^&* monetization. For Blizz to move into mobile was the next logical step. Wonder if they can keep any Devs if they decide to go even further into mobile.
Genshin Impact, the number #1 mobile game in the world. Had a PC Client since day 1.Why hasn't blizzard learned from this yet? It seems they're always behind in everything, outdated graphics in d4, that wont even compete with Lost Ark as well.To me it seems blizzard just sold their assets to some chinese mobile game pumper, instead of putting any real effort into it. There's no excuse for no pc client.
Mobile games are mainsteam now.
