Um..... Wild Spirits didn't get nurfed... the spell does the same damage for BM it did before and behaves the same way as pre 9.0.5MM hunter sustained a nurf from wild spirits due to Serpentstalker's causing a double proc of Wild spirits giving them more ST and substantially more AOE DPS during those window.To anyone curious about Impakt's "comments" take them with a grain of salt. He is not even playing Hunter and he sure as hell isn't playing BM. You are better off running wipe fest, and doing stat weights on your own character along with evaluating your damage logs alongside your bosses event logs to better improve as a player rather then listening to guide writers who have little to now clue how the class is actually playing.
Tooltip for beast cleave still shows 75% so idk if the buff is actually live or tooltip just isn't updated.

Whilst the BC buff is nice for BM, its not where the vast majority of the problems lay, the biggest issue relating to BM hunter is the AOE target cap, our major aoeing ability only hitting 5 targets is a huge issue, when you have classes like, mage, dk and Druid with unlimited AOE on their highest damaging abilities is a joke, mage (ignite, yes i know its a dot, but still does the most damage AOE, UH dk with VL combined with Epidemic and Druid with the Starfall damage and range) thats just to name a few. AOE target capping classes was possibly the stupidest idea ive seen blizz have, it has made an even more elitist ideal then there was already.I regards to single target, yes bm isnt exactly in a great spot and is a long way behind other classes and specs in that regard and i would love to see kill command and barbed shot buffed with by damage increases or but cooldown reductions, but at the same time, bm is one of the specs that scales the best with gear, when our haste and crit stats are increasing over the next raid tier or so, we will see bm make its way up the meters.
While you are correct Wolfbait - the true number is a bit lower, as the beast was already doing 100% on its main target, so the increase is only to its other targets. - So if its hitting 5 targets, only 4 got the increase from this buff making it only a 16% increase in this case. (and this is not taking into account the dmg you are doing with the actual multishot aswell, which is not buffed either).
I love the armchair experts going "LOL BM had no Wild Spirits nerf"It did, MONTHS ago when the same double trigger bug was occuring as with MM, but they only "fixed" BM, not MM till 9.0.5. Given he 100% knows this as it was common knowledge in the hunter Discord that he is a moderator in, he just made a mistake and lumped them together, but by all means carry on trying to feel smart...On the topic, is BM worse because of this buff? Of course not, but it doesn't fix any of the spec's major issues in that it just doesn't work with current content in any meaningful way: It lacks burst, no scaled AoE, severe pet issues, to name a few.
BM hunters complaining that the buff wasn't enough and also want from blizzard to stop playing favouritism and nerf mm already because it's doing 3% more dps than them in raids while forgetting that both specs are completely trash, no, the entire class is completely trash for a pure dps class without any meaningful utility for raids. Just stop it already, instead of wishing for your brethren to be desecrated just so your spec shows is last 4th dps instead of last 3rd in WCL. Just wish that they deal with the imbalance between classes and buff any hunter spec to be competitive with druids, mage and warlocks of the world
