Dwarves Gnomes - Go north and do north EK. Then take the new boat and finish by doing badlands, SG, BS, SOS and BlastedHumans - Go south until Cape of STV. Then cross over to Kal and do dus swamp, 100k, Tan, Ug and SithNE, Worg - Do N. Kal heading south, then come back up north and do Felwood and Winter....Undead do nearly the same as dwarves and gnomesTauren do similar to NE, WorgsOrc and trolls can do their mid levels by crossing over to the STVs after barrens or else just do all southern Kal.
Just a small nit-pick:
Excellent guide.

After wetlands its Arathi -highlands- NOT basin
a great guide, surprised you didnt mention the epicness that is Stonetalon Mountains for Horde... the finale to the main quest line was one of my favourite moments in the game
This is a funky guide!I have one issue with it though, and it is by no means the fault of Ashelia, but rather Blizzard. It is very hard to stick to levelling guides like this now, simply through the fact that so much extra XP can be earned simply through gathering professions, dungeon runs and, potentially, hierlooms. For instance, I've just started levelling a new Holy Paladin (mostly using the Shockadin spec, but with a proper Holy spec once I hit 30 for doing instances). Now I jumped her to Brill at level 6 to see the new Undead stories; especially Silverpine. This worked quite well as I only did one instance during this zone (WC) and I completed the whole chain at level 21. I waslooking forward to Hillsbrad, but this is where things went awry. I also wanted to experience each instance once on the way through, for completeness and the Achievement. I also wanted to do Archaeology. The Pally has now hit 27 and thats without having done any quests since Silverpine... I'm trying my hardest to ensure that I get some semblance of routine going by the time I hit 34 so I can experience the Plaguelands zones in their entirety. This probably would mean skipping doing SM which would be a shame.I realise I'm just rambling now, but I think its important to realise, especially for newer players, that if you wish to experience the zones as Blizzard intended, it would be wise to skip instances, and not have any gathering professions, otherwise your level will start to over-run into the next zone and you'll end up missing stuff out.But like I said, still a great guide!
Ach, sorry. I did see you mention it when discussing Thousand Needles, but got caught up in my mini-gripe.I think a solution is to level two characters and visit the zones that the other one missed!(For any Alliance folk, the John J. Keeshan quests in Redridge are definitely worth sticking through to the end. Bravo Company, I love those guys).
love this guide. thank you! although wearing full set of heirlooms plus Fast Track rank 2, you do like a partial of the quests in a zone and you are already ready to move on to the next zone level haha.
Great guide! I would make one edit though: Worgen after Gilneas are automatically shoved onto the Kalimdor track, not Eastern Kingdoms.
Hi,I noticed that this guide is a bit wrong for Worgen. You mention that they should continue on in Eastern Kingdoms, but that is not what actually happens. They escape to Darnassus, and then the next zone accessible is Darkshore in Kalimdor. So, they really should be in the Alliance Kalimdor part of the guide, along with Night Elves and Draenei.I can't believe no one had pointed that out yet.Cheers.
BTW: Thanks for the recommendation of Redridge Mountains. I just finished all the quests there yesterday on my Dwarf Rogue and had a blast.Cheers.
Could i roll a blood elf and then travel to Kalimdor to begin leveling there? Or level to maybe level 15 and then head on over to Kalimdor and begin a quest line over there? If so, how would i do that? Thank you
