Well, 2020 was not a complete loss after all.
This is hilarious! Love love love this decision!
You cheat, you go out. Simple as that.
Good news everyone ;)
Can we get our loot-a-rang back then?
Even as an ex-multiboxer i knew that Blizzard will ban after the warnings were sent out. I love my collectables, characters too much so i decided to refund 7 copies of SL and keep 1 Epic version with my main account.Multiboxing was fun while it lasted, i will just use up my saved up gold to play the AH and play the game with one account and enjoy the hell out of SL. :) People who don't stop using the software deserve the ban.
Ban bots - not legitimate players.
Yeah I saw a handful of people on isboxer discord saying they'd just continue doing it until they get banned on those accounts because they didn't think the accounts would be useful after the broadcasting ban so they might as well just go as far as they can on them until they get banned. I personally am only dualboxing so I can more easily control my 2 characters than someone like this person who has 20.
it's Ema, addon on curseforge/
Good job, Blizz!
Farewell o/ You will not be missed!
I find it good, especially as it ruined wpvp several times in my experience, plus sometimes quest/dailies with raw gold or boe mount farming. My main concern is about mats prices, so far I've always estimated that these people were the reason for more affordable herbs and ores on the AH.
This right here is the problem I see going forward. I multi-box (did). I mirrored my keystrokes for dps while questing, but still changed windows to gather nodes and herbs. It's great that Blizzard still wants my money and will let me put my second toon on follow, but how many anti-boxing zealots are going to take the time to see that I'm not mirroring key strokes, and instead just report me. It's going to be the same debacle silencing was, and I'm not excited by the prospect of having to explain myself to Blizzard that I was in fact obeying the ToS.Blizzard has had the power to ban botters all along. They could have simply buckled down on the individuals abusing the right to multi-box.
