NO the current system works! We should be rewarded for doing PvE and PvP.
We really need Bracket cap for item levels... Boosters one shotting, no way to counter that mindless gameplay...
Sounds annoying. Either make Legion templates or keep the current system but incentives the content better for each type of player.
There should be no PvP gear. Rated games should be about skill, not gear. I PvP daily, and I hate the current system. If you’re good, you’ll have a higher rating. if you’re bad, you are in a lower bracket. To prevent players from boosting, if you hit a certain bracket, you’re stuck there until the next season.
all of the world first raiders were wearing pvp gear and boe's this last tier. Its a good change but early season pvp gearing was much better this time around.
The only thing that concerns myself as a primarily PvP content oriented player is in what manner the scaling is going to work. If PvP gear remains the same il for PvE and then scales up for instanced PvP, that would be great, but it sounds like they would keep the current PvP gear il the same for instanced PvP and scale the gear DOWN for PvE, which would suck, as you would have your character's power cut down in essentially every other part of the game other than BGs and Arena.I can only speak for myself when I say that it doesn't bother me too much to feel weaker in dungeons, however, It doesn't feel very rewarding for a PvP player who invests his time in that content to be 2-shot in in the open world by somebody who primarily raids or does mythic +, and btw, the entire premise behind the game's conception was world PvP, believe it or not.Not fixing the issue IMO, just passing the buck.
Fix pve gear. Don't touch pvp gear. This is a dumb idea pulled from the worst WoW xpac in history.
No thanks, I don't want my hard earned gear to be devalued, because a bunch of arena babies don't wanna ever step outside of one.
Absolutely awful idea. With recent buffs to PvE drops + Valor points, it is not necessary. With current conquest weekly gain, it would take 21 weeks to get full gear if you can not pick any vault option to "save" conquest as you could now since the PvP piece was usually decent at least for PvE as well.People who will pick only pure PvP vault options can with some luck gear up to full conq gear already in 8-9 weeks, which is basically half of the time.Someone who wishes to do both PvE and PvP will be forced to face much better geared people in arenas (including better stat optimization.) Imagine fighting someone 20 ilvls ahead just because you are forced to pick PvE options for raiding/m+.
So, listen, if you're going to do this then up drop rates. I'm still rocking pvp gear. Dont make it worse.
Yes, let's take the broken pvp system and turn it onto pve players. Great fix
Best incoming change so far.
Wowhead comments: Doing PvP for best PvP gear and doing PvE for best PvE gear is bad.Logic
