S-tier week overall for pushing. Get your KSM done now if you haven't already.
Necro Prot Warrior; A few points we've noticed for these affixes and neat pulls to do are as follows:Plaguefall: Keeping 1 tiny slime for the First Boss alive allows an effect buff for the encounter while you clear the arena as per your route. The third boss has a plague roc that you can pull to the right (facing the door going down) across the lava; he can evade pop onto the slimes downstairs helping you catch-up with an EZ 2%, facilitating skips efficiently. Also, if you have two necros, have them coordinate fleshcrafts so that you have the slime buff for the most up-time. The corpses last about 1.5-2 minutes (I don't have a real number to back myself on); so for example for Mordretha I take the first set of buffs, and as Ichor Bileflesh is dying my rogue runs back to renew the buffs with his fleshcraft so we start mordretha super powered. Do this chain throughout the dungeon, and it has a huge impactSpiresSometimes people are skeptical about the big skip at the start, but one way I've been successfully been able to sell it to pugs is highlighting that it guarantees 4 lusts in the dungeon. Paying attention to your time left when you get to the third platform, starting the boss encounter then backtracking for % afterwards gives you awesome efficiency. If you go the right hand way, you can split the Goliath from his Wyrms by grabbing them seperately. This allows you to make a safe 2 big pulls for the platform - keeping your spear for another risky giant pull on the next one. HallsI think this has been consistently the hardest dungeon for my group to date. Since optimizing 4 power up-time with trash/bosses is the priority, we actual skip A LOT of trash throughout the dungeon (no little dredgers with problematic sanguines, big skip to echelon), making it up at the end after the 4th boss. This allows for consistent lust use. The travel time at the end isn't as bad as it sounds, and the trash MELTS with 4 powers. Our best time was achieved doing this. SanguineThe big skip at the start is awesome, just make sure you kill the last group of Venthr otherwise the ticks will never end! This dungeon went from my dreaded pick last season, so our favourite.
So these weekly posts are back to "do HOA or Mists for weekly" routine again
Made my push and got KSM this week. Thoughts on each dungeon:Necrotic Wake: The only awkward parts are at the start getting to Blightbone and the start of the necropolis. Both have a bit of limited room to operate so Sanguine can be annoying. But overall an excellent week to push. Spires: I actually disagree in having it be S tier this week. I would put it B. The issue is the trash golems can stop to recharge in the blood and that can heal them to full with no counter other than breaking the shields to get them out. The 3rd boss Oryphrion has given me a couple issues when he does a 3rd casing of ordinance and then goes right into recharge mode. Having so many orbs and the fact you have no time to pull him away has ruined a couple runs this week. It's not bad but I've had issues. It's a pretty good week but due to the nature of some of the trash it can be very annoying. Halls: Great week to push. Lots of room to operate for Sanguine, lots of trash that doesnt do much except melee and follow you around and overall a great time to smash it. Plaguefall: In terms of pushing a tyrannical plaguefall this is a good week. There is generally open spaces and you can deal with the blood without too much issue. But the issue is this is tyrannical plaguefall with the first boss in particular being the big check to having a successful run or not. If you're after KSM this is as good of a week as any. Mists: It is a decent week for mists, though some of the maze areas can be iffy for the blood. I have a feeling this could get nasty if it was fortified sanguine. But as it is, mists is one of the more forgiving dungeons and this is a solid push. Depths: I disagree that it is so low. This is a solid B to maybe even an A week for Depths only because of Tyrannical. The nerfs to storming make this place much better. Yes, blood can be an issue in the narrow halls but the pulls are generally small enough to not be that big of a deal. The nerfs to the 2nd boss have also done wonders to keep him in check and now he is not nearly the monster he was. DOS: Again, disagree with the rankings. It's a B week for DOS only because of the tyrannical nature of the bosses. The blood is less of an issue than it seems with most pulls in the mechagon section being small, ardenweld having decent space to operate. The central platforms and Hakkar wings are the only pain points for sanguine (and even then you can pull trash around without too much issue). That said, hakkar can get nasty without a lust and dealer still does a lot of damage with the arcane debuff if your group doesn't know how to juggle it. Tyrannical DOS will probably never be over a B ranking because the bosses get so bad so this is as good as it gets for getting it done.Theater of Pain: Like DOS, the bosses in TOP can get pretty brutal, and with 5 of them you got a lot of HP to chew through. That said, I disagree for it being a D week. Aside from the bosses, the trash in TOP isn't that bad at all on fortified. There are some pain points in construct wing and maybe some in the lich wing but otherwise the pulls are just not that huge to be a big issue for blood management. This week TOP's true difficulty is with the bosses. A tyr will never be over a B but because of the construct wing pain, I'll say C week (though high C). It probably gets better but honestly not a whole lot for a Tyr TOP Overall this is a great week to push for your score.
