Doesn't this happen every raid tier? Like... how else would the Alliance get 100 mythic kills if half them weren't horde rerolls or boosted?
Honestly who cares? If there are no 100 guilds on the Alliance that can clear the raid in 3 months Blizzard themselves should just close Hall of Fame and open cross realm mythic
The only problem i see here is blizzard gating content from a faction that is already suffering from people leaving it to play horde. whether this was intended to open cross realm mythic or not, good on them solving an issue blizzard is too stupid and pigheaded to fix/remove.
This is not surprising. People in limit were talking about this throughout 8.3. Just separate China from the rest of the HoF and prevent them from being added to the r.io database. Why? Cause it already is. There is no api on our end allowing us to verify things are done. All information has to be passed by hand and taken on faith. Obviously that faith and trust has been broken. So just sever the rest of the problem. Also posting in this before the post gets locked.

People cheering for Chinese boosting and cross realm mythic just want to save money for when they buy their CE.Regardless of the state of it all, RMT boosting is not allowed and they should therefore be removed and have their accounts actioned. Even if it wasn't boosting and it's just the same 20 dudes remaking different guilds to just mess with the system - that should still be actioned. Not a ban but at least investigated to some point. Much like how people want cross realm mythic, people also want to get famed slayer (even if it's budget alliance famed slayer). Their gameplay shouldn't be impeded upon by unfair play much like how a pet or transmog collector's play shouldn't be unfairly impeded upon.
I'm sorry but the CN region is kind of irrelevant to me, and probably every single person who accesses the wowhead. You're not even allowed to view CN characters because of their ridiculous laws. Also Chinese WoW is a different experience entirely.
I'd like to point out the obvious but radical insane people have a problem with the truth. So ill just say, reread the title. Nuff said.
Honestly, I feel the hall of fame thing is a stupid idea in the first place.
"suspected".... that's just straight up evidence of boosting. Effecting the Hall of Fame? It probably did. Hall of Fame entries by guilds that have never pulled but nonetheless killed Sludge, Generals, and Sire in a single night? Yeah, that's perfectly natural. /s
Boosting is paying another player/guild (WITH GOLD) to get you something in game e.g. achievements/gear/m+ done/pvp rating etc. Boosting is not "supported" by blizzard but is legal.RMT or real money trading is when you pay a player/guild with irl money to achieve the same result as boosting however is very against the rules and is a bannable offense. Hall of Fame is a list of the 100 guilds per faction that are the first to kill the current tier's last boss on Mythic difficulty.
Just separate all chinese players and game itself from the logs, achievements and all DB. Easy
As long as crossrealm mythic is locked up behind this stupid system, I couldn't care less.Sorry for all the competitors, but it just takes SOOOO LONG till the crossrealm unlock...
I don't see why this is presented as a problematic issue though? People have been boosting and are getting boosted across various levels all the time ^^
