I'm hoping that we see Arthas in 9.2, it would be a nice reunion between Mal'Ganis and him.Optionally, it would be nice seeing whoever wrote the messages we found in the Venthyr chapter, and I would love to see Detheroc too. Just because those messages threatened him, should he "fail again"
So we get a new zone and new raid, probably a new faction to grind. Anduin, Malganis, Denathrius? Zoval and ? as bosses. To what end? Whats next? What about the red star in the sky? Where is Khadgar (saw the Bellular speculation video). Sylvanas redeemed as new Arbiter or something. Elune will show up to get revenge on Zoval. So where do we fight the Light and Void? What are the other 4 pantheons? TRICKLE TRICKLE TRICKLE. I bet Blizzard goes bankrupt before we can finish the story.
Venthyr already went full pepega by letting remornia be stolen in the previous chapters, "but hey at least we captured Mal'ganis"Why am i not surprised he already escaped again. These covenants actually have poop for brains.
I wonder if it will turn out Denathrius and Mal'Ganis are not on the same side as the Jailer. It could be interesting if they are the trail to the next expansion similar to Gul'dan for Legion. It would be shame to have the dreadlords not appear again. The lore and role they played in cosmic-wide events is interesting and could lead to lots of cool stories.
Interesting, malganis doesn’t like a taste of his own medicine.
Ah yes, yet another layer of something we don't know anything about in an expansion full of somethings we don't know anything about. The 60s Batman show did a better job of resolving storylines without cliffhangers.
I think you’re 100 percent correct on this
Wow, it's almost like the entire last two raids accomplished absolutely nothing lore-wise. Way to make the players feel as though they have any sort of impact on the world around them, writers
I don't expect anything...But I know I will be still let down...
Man, I know they’re trying but their storytelling is just not great. They seem better when sticking to smaller zone/individual stories, but the greater story just seems to be recycling villains and the same people with nothing particularly interesting or novel.
Mal'ganis escaping off-screen 3 story-chapters after you capture him is just shameful and insulting, it's bad writing, I have no words to describe how disappointed I am.And when Shadowlands was in alpha/beta, Blizzard kept saying "oh yeah, we want to bring back characters like Arthas in a meaningful way".
