Note: Characters that choose to use the Zereth Mortis skip will have their Cypher of the First Ones system unlock, but will FORFEIT the 120 Cyphers of the First Ones they would gain from this quest's completion.

Alt Catch-Up: Once each "Understanding" Cypher is fully researched with at least one character, an account-wide flag will trigger, making that Understanding research have shortened times for alts as well.

Metrial Understanding -> Cachial Understanding -> Aealic Understanding -> Dealic Understanding

If you're interested in more resources like Cyphers of the First Ones and Cosmic Flux, unlock Altonian Understanding after Aealic Understanding (as this unlocks a third Daily Quest in Zereth Mortis);

If you're interested in advancing through Protoform Synthesis to craft mounts, unlock Sopranian Understanding after Dealic Understanding.

Trebalim Understanding does not have important systems in Zereth Mortis hidden behind it like extra resources or crafting systems, so this research, as well as the others in the Trebalim tree, can wait until the more important researches listed above are completed.

But for those interested in world content, this system is very useful.

I miss when we had fewer things to worry about throughout an expansion... The Artifacts and the Heart of Azeroth, at least, we used all the xpac...

To be honest, I am. In this zone you're no longer praying to the RNG gods that you'll finally get the mount that has a 2% chance to drop after your 200th kill. you can actually make purposeful, meaningful progress towards any targeted mount you want. Just not needed...Comment by FiliposVekFirst you have to farm the resources to unlock the mount research pillar,then when you have them you have to wait days for it to be unlocked,then you have to farm their reagants and their schematic,wow what a bad design,but of course who is left to %^&* over?collectors,lets timegame their stuff behind walls of waiting time for no reason and then they have to anyways pray to the RNG gods for the stuff to drop so they can craft the 5 recolours
