I have really enjoyed coming back to play World of Warcraft after a 2 year break and really seeing how they have changed the game and how much more fun I'm having.
i was so excited when i got my venomhide ravasaur after raising him from an egg!
I think the moment when I was the most exited was when I got the ICC 10 man achievement, and I got the bloodbathed frostbrood vanquisher mount! Me and my friends were so happy the rest of that week :P.
Ashes of Al'ar after 3 tries :p
Probably seeing the flood of achievements coming in when they finally did go live.
I have played World of Warcraft for almost 8 years now, and there are numerous things I have accomplished and acquired.I fretted with whether to figure out what my hardest or rarest achievement was, perhaps something I acquired or would I go for a witty answer.I wasn't sure but it eventualy came to me, this had to be more than just an accomplisment it had to have some extra meaning This led me to one moment which to me, stood out amongst my many accomlishments and items acquired. This is an epic story, one involving many hours of sweat and blood... I remember when my first 'Skyshard' dropped... seeing an epic item just made my heart skip. I had heard of them not long after reaching 90 after flying past Alani and wondering what the deal was with an un-attackable rare. I read about people farming them for literally hours, even days at a time for just a single one. The mere thought of obtaining 10 seemed impossible. I was never going to do that...was I? I got on with my dailies like a good boy thinking no more of it and a week later my 2nd Skyshard dropped. I felt the same excitement again but again dismissed lofty thoughts. One day whilst bored, some guildies had been talking about farming Skyshards, and I was desperatly in need of motes of harmony. Knowing Stonebark Tricksters dropped both motes and Skyshards made them the obvious choice. And so suddenly there I was, despite all my doubts, farming for Skyshards. At first this was mostly to obtain motes but I eventually got lucky and found another one, then two Skyshards. A week or two passed and I'd now been spending the odd hour or so farming every day or two but had not really commited. This went on for a while and more weeks passed. Someone in my guild had now collected 10 and was happily in possession of the Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent. I had almost forgotten about Skyshards, having not done dailies or farming for a couple of weeks. However, staring at the 6 Skyshards I had collected in my backpack was taunting me on a daily basis. Eventually I couldn't take it so started casuallly farming again. A couple of days later, bingo ,,, number 7 and then doing dailies again, bam..., number eight. Now it must have been about this point the whole picture came into view and I was suddenly within reach of what seemed so unobtainable. I dedicated myself to farming and after around 7 hours worth, I'd reached my goal. As I got my 10th I almost jamp out my seat with joy... I immeadiatly used the 10 to create the crystal and rushed off to find Alani. Not knowing what to expect, I landed nearby and used the crystal... suddenly Alani was there, in front of me and vulnerable. I opened up with everything I had knowing I was only moments away from my dream. As Alani took her last breath I rushed over, feeling exstatic and looted the corpse. There were the reins... I couldn't believe it. So much luck and effort had taken me on an epic journey to reaching my goal but I was there. The more I think about it, the more epic my acomplishment seems to be.You might say it's just a case of putting in the time and effort, that there is nothing special about it This misses the point entirely howeerver, it's the sheer scale of the whole thing that makes this mount so special. Truely, I will never forget the journey that took me to this mount and will always consider this one of my greatest accomplishments.
i would like a feldrake or rooster egg xD
Two of my greatest achievements in my 3 years of playing was to tame Loque'nahak after an intense month of farming. Was talking to my dad on the phone while flying in Sholazar Basin when i finally saw him and told my dad gtg i'll call you later :P Named him SpiritCrusha as a tribute to my favorite Death's song "Spirit Crusher" and he's been my loyal pet since. My other accomplishment was when my heart skipped a beat when my npcscan blasted the presence of the Time-Lost-Proto-Drake after a long 8 months or more of hearing the eery music in Storm Peaks. I died a first time while putting my hunter's mark while flying way too high over the frozen lake... Took the 10 min buff from the angel nearby, mounted and went in the same direction the TLPD took to kill him while 2 hordes killed me after i looted my new precious mount!
Ya know that is a tough question. I honestly get excited about something new in WoW every patch. I love that they are able to keep my interest by putting time and effort into the expansions!
Getting my "The Beloved" Title!™
So many good answers to give.My first real excitement achieve was getting the Winterspring Frostsaber. Some may not think much of this, but I really like the mount, and still use it to this day.I actually had dreams about flying on a drake shortly before I completed all the necessary rep gains to get the Netherwing mounts, my first dragons. When I got the white bear mount from the blue giant chicks,Was great getting the Blue Proto from heroic UP,I was excited to get the cloud serpents, both mounts and pets,I had another big woohoo moment when I got the Twilight Drake, after a long time of wanting it.Still chasing the Stone Drake from Aeonaxx.I guess the best answer to give is I love it all! The sense of accomplishment is great.
