Story Spoilers Ahead.

Ah, <player>. Before I face the coming judgment, I would share words with you.

I was recently reminded that we cannot change the past. If you choose to hate me for the things I've done, I could not blame you for it.

But know this. We shared common cause once, and you have proven your dedication to the Horde time and again. I hope that you will continue to defend it, no matter what may come.

<player>. It is fitting that we share a few final words here, as I stand upon the precipice of judgment.

You have shown me loyalty time and time again, even when others spurned you for it. Even when my own actions did not merit such dedication.

I'm not certain what fate awaits me. But if one day I have need of trusted allies, I know that I can call upon you.

Ah, <player>. You have little reason to listen to my words, but I offer them nonetheless.

Nothing I can say or do can change what I have done. My judgement is at hand, and I accept whatever comes.

In life, I fought to protect my home. It is good that Azeroth has you and your allies to defend her.

Um, excuse me? What does my Horde paladin Valos have to say about this? What about my Horde pandaren monk? His throwing guilt by association is total bullcrap. He wants to throw stones at those of the Horde who were not present for his son's murder by Sylvanas, nor affiliated with it at all before then, he better endure the pain should he ever try his luck. This is me as an Alliance main talking. Genn better be damn careful about what he does next.Comment by AlixieI love the fact that Greymane is the only Alliance leader who doesnt offer kind words or gratitude to the Horde or Sylvanas. Remember, the Horde only stopped their warpath because Sylvanas abandoned them, and Sylvanas only stopped herself when the Jailer was inches from his goal. There's little to be happy about after all the death and destruction that Sylvanas and the Horde had brought up until that point. Even rescuing Anduin was a moot point because Sylvanas was the one who put him in that spot to begin with. Restoring the Shadowlands was another break-even point again because the Horde were all in agreement that starting the 4th war was a worthwhile mission to ensure that they'd be the superpower in charge during peacetime.

The amount of Alliance who want this to be water under the bridge, and that's A LOT of water, outnumber the Alliance who mistrust the Horde. Like the Sylvanas loyalists, I hope the disenters keep being vocal about all the war crimes they're being asked to forgive.Comment by Vittorinooh and please less Sylvanas in 10.0 and onward. That being said, I feel like the only way to truly settle it all is the Alliance commit its own war crimes against the Horde. I highly doubt we will see her again. There are some characters that aren't necessary to the game anymore and why they haven't been moving forward.

I see this moving forward in the story. Blizzard is going to have less restrictions on pumping things out and how they pump them out. Microsoft acquiring them was probably the most positive thing to happen to the company. If you look at some of the companies Microsoft owns, specifically...Bethesda/Zenimax/Obsidian, they have been pretty hands off on development for their games. This is a positive as its could very well change the pace from the Activision need to push content for $$ gains and revert Blizzard back the 90's early 2000's slog in development, which was when anyone could argue as Blizzard's prime due to the quality of the games that were published/released. The reason I mention this is because Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI has been seriously taking forever and hopefully because of this we will see probably two of the best games to come out of those studios.

As for the Blizzard angle, I think Shadowlands (kind of hopeful rather) is the end of the Old Blizzard and the Old Blizzard's quality of work. Wherever we go next I think we will see the Story of Warcraft get away from a lot of the "Known" Characters and start moving towards new characters which is a change we desperately need. Illidan was popular, came back and is now the Jailer to Sargeras, Sylvanas was popular, she is now searching the maw for thousands, millions of souls to get rejudged. Thrall is now just a council member, Anduin is reassessing his life, for who knows how long. I think the story is going to start focusing on new untold stories, new NPCs that have been created. This is something Blizzard has done well with both BfA and Shadowlands (taking the Legacy characters out of it).

What I mean is, Talanji/Rokhan made the Zandalari campaign interesting...focusing on Gallywix/Mekktorque gave more light to the Goblin/Gnome rivalry, Calia Menethil added a whole new outlook on Undead. Kul Tiran story line itself was rather interesting as we got to explore a forgotten kingdom of the Humans. In Shadowlands, we explored new characters and a different cosmic world that was just rather entertaining. I mean Sire Denathrius was generally enjoyable as a story character and a boss, it gave purpose to Nathria. Ve'nari added a realm of mystery within the maw and the brokers itself. We did all this without notable Legacy Heroes. Faction conflict should be relegated to PVP storylines and be, like, splinter groups that are a part of the faction but aren't "supported" by either side and the conflict just supports the PVP gameplay. War in Warcraft doesn't need to be Horde vs. Alliance - there's plenty of other conflict that can and should be utilized.Comment by Kcoplin
We may very well see that with both Genn and Tyrande. Being that they have beast animal motifs... an animal that goes rabid, must be put down. I'm gonna be honest, I'm an Alliance player, always will be. But if Genn or Tyrande act out against the Horde unprovoked for any reason, I hope the loot they drop is good.Comment by EridianIf Turalyon goes off his rocker then the Alliance will have what we were going through as Horde.
