this is a one of a series of 20 slot "Carriage" profession bags. there is also a 14 slot normal bag.

...and Alliance say Horde has it easy. hah. i cant get a mining bag atm. theres none on the AH, and no one is responding to my request for a Leatherworker to Craft a mining bag with my mats.

Dawn Radue in Stormwind City sells a number of "designer" bags:

These bags are functionally just like Huge Brown Sack; they cannot be seen by other players and offer no gameplay advantages to common bags (just like real life!). If you're willing to slum it, you can head over to Old Town and visit Alyssa Griffith, who sells generic equivalents of the designer bags like Heavy Toolbox and Mining Sack. Note that there are generic bag vendors in each major city.

Note that some of the bags do use unique icons relative to other bags, and might be useful from an organizations standpoint if you visually organize your storage bags, though you are more likely to be buying max-profession level bags at that stage such as Triple-Reinforced Mining Bag and Elementium Toolbox, which offer nearly twice the storage capacity.

It is worth highlighting that, despite being common quality (white lettering), the profession-specific bags are BoE.

The concept is inspired by Coach, Inc., who offers a large number of designer handbags, clutches, purses, and other accessories. The names match Coach almost 1:1 under names such as the "Madison Collection" ("Carriage - Maddy" High Tech Bag) and "Kristin Collection" ("Carriage - Christina" Precious Metal Bag).

All that said, can you really put a price on fashion? This is art, darling! Do you really want to be caught adventuring with something as pedestrian as, say, a Heavy Toolbox? Fashion is not about utility! Do you expect questgivers to take you seriously carting around some tired Heavy Toolbox? The "Carriage - Maddy" High Tech Bag is a Carriage, a Carriage. A Carriage is a piece of iconography used to express individual identity. A toolbox is kept in a garage or workshop, a Carriage is kept at your side where it can be seen! Only the most dashing adventurers will be carrying Carriage, I guarantee you.

You don't want to end up like Ricole Nichie, dear, do you? Caught wearing a Gem Pouch of all things, the poor dear. Now look at her: Practically nonexistent. She doesn't dare show her face in Undercity, let alone Silvermoon City!

And while we're at it, have us a visit to Sheddle Glossgleam because I saw your shoes when I first came in and, well, it's just embarrassing.
