This is an insanely good potion, and the recipe for it should not be sold cheap. This is on a very short cooldown (3 seconds), and clearing up to 4 poisons per gulp (4 stacks), it can be lifesaving on battles like Huhuran, where the poison just keeps stacking up.

This removes a large part of the cleansing needed, and enables the healers to focus more on healing instead of cleansing, aswell as making sure that people get cleansed faster. Both of these factors makes it alot easier to kill such bosses.

The reason why this is considered a 'white' or Common item, is because during the Alpha or Beta (I forget which ;<), there were vendors who used to sell this item, among others.

Considering the low cost (Although slightly hard to find) of the mats required to make, this little potion is a gem.

This item took a big nerf as of patch 2.2. It now has a 2 minute cooldown.

EDIT: The item shares a cooldown with other potions, and so operates off that cooldown.

If you can get your hands on this alchemy potion while leveling alchemy this is an ideal potion to skill. Large Venom Sacs usually can be found en masse for an extremely cheap price on an auction house in my experience from people just looking to make a bit more then the vendor cost. Even asking in trade might result some free ones being sent to you. The use of Bruiseweed makes this a cost effective recipe. You usually can sell these to people who may be questing, or use them yourself.

The cooldown isn't as great as it once was; but it still does a pretty nice job for WSG flag runners, or people who have to grind spiders or scorpids for a while (like Shimmering Flats) and they don't want to wait a few minutes to take off the poison. This potion recipe is a world drop item.

I found Blackfathom Deeps to be the least painstaking place for faming this as Horde. Statistically, you'd need around 78 runs to get one of these, according to the following data:

5 Fallenroot Shadowstalker, 6 Twilight Reaver, 9 Fallenroot Hellcaller at 0.02% each

31 Blackfathom Sea Witch, 16 Blackfathom Myrmidon, 7 Twilight Aquamancer, 3 Twilight Elementalist, 4 Barbed Crustacean, 9 Blindlight Murloc, 3 Blindlight Oracle, 7 Murkshallow Snapclaw, 4 Twilight Loreseeker, 5 Blindlight Muckdweller at 0.01% each

For a total drop rate of 1.29% per run, which statistically mean 77.5 runs to get one.

Update:

Alliance has it easier. The Stockade totals 0.98% per run, or around 102 runs (too lazy to write the math down), but due to the dungeon being MUCH shorter with much lower distances between the mobs, the runs are a lot quicker. You could farm this as horde, but to make the trip to Stormwind and the possible need to corpse walk into the instance worth it, I wouldn't recommend it unless you don't mind throwing all the loot away instead of selling it. Alternately, if you have Guild Herald and/or Guild Page (which serve the same purpose, but don't share a cooldown, so preferably both), you can run this stance several times and summon them when needed to sell the loot.

I've opened around 300 of these though, so I'd say a really low drop chance of it.
