Despite the new tooltip and effect on the other version of this power, this one still grants the effect of Toxicialic, which is very overpowered, with Toxicialic Emanation doing ~30% of my DPS during a rare fight, ~50% during a rare-elite fight, and ~80% against Antros. The incomplete attempt to change it to 5% increase critical strike chance looks like a quick-fix as they simply changed the other version to grant Perceptialic's effect instead.

This has been nerfed to cap at 6% of your max HP against elites. So still very good, but a big reduction from what it was.

I am very confused with this, the enhancement console lists a completely different power to this one. It is supposed to be increase crit, but when I choose it, it gives me this one that does periodic damage! I don't know what is going on. In addition, it's very annoying to have as a buff as when you are on a mount you get a "you are mounted" reminder with a sound effect every 5-6 sec!
ETA: Not sure why this got downvoted, it's true and others can confirm. I finally got rid of it, switched it for haste. I think they fixed the error link of giving you the wrong one. I picked the crit one three times on different alts and got this one, but today I tried again and got the correct crit one.

When you're mounted, you get an error message and sound every 5 seconds, which is very annoying

It does still do a huge chunk of damage, but be aware that it will prevent you from using cc on aggro targets. You can throw a frost trap and it will work, but if you are aggro to the controlled mob it will break 5 seconds later when this procs.

At the time of this post, the power from this is still wildly inconsistent. There are times it's just ticking along at 3.5-4k hits every 5 seconds(I have 60k hp), and there are times where it's making up 20-50% of my damage and doing thousands of damage to some rares. Not sure if Blizzard flubbed the hotfix or there's some way to make the old effect still work.

I fought the rare Otiosen 597,740HP solo, so it got no additional HP boosts from other players, I have 60,240HP. Combat lasted 44 seconds, and Toxicialic Emanation did 379k damage, so it's still really strong.

Edit: so this is super late(Dragon Flight has a release date now lol), but I've found out you can trigger the enhanced effect by pulling certain elite mobs around other mobs to make the massive damage boost happen, but again it's super inconsistent, for example on the world boss Antros, you can pull the World destroyer mobs in the area and the effect will trigger and you'll do millions of extra damage from Toxicialic Emanation, HOWEVER on fated weeks this doesn't work.

This buff is doing damage equal to 6% of ENEMY's max health increased by YOUR vestatility and reduced by ENEMY'S versatility.
However when fighting elites the damage gets bugged in unknown way, doing very big hits after some time.

Area of effect of this buff affects all hostile targets in 40 yards. If other player is fighting with neutral monster, your buff will attack that monster too. Even if you have zero treat on that monster.

For some characters the description in console is bugged. Mages see it as 5% crit increase what works only in outdoors Shadowlands.

For the moment this effect is somewhat... unpredictable.

On many rare mobs in ZM, it ticks along at about 3500 dmg, nice, but not spectacular. However, occasionally for some mobs, it will tick wildly high. I saw over 100k a tick damage against Destabilized Core just now. I'm assuming there is some hiccup in the elite vs rare vs rare elite determination that is confusing things.

I think the variance you're seeing is because of when you have the Rigialic Crystallic Spheroid on you (Increased 20% crit damage and healing) in addition to toxicialic. When I have Rigialic on, I get the ridiculous numbers on the meters.

For everyone reporting the wildly inconsistent damage numbers, it seems to calculate how much damage it "should" tick for when you first hit a rare/boss, however you will notice that when more and more people join a fight the health of the boss will scale accordingly which seems to bug out the calculation for how much damage it should do, so if you're the first person to hit a rare and a bunch of people come to join you it will cause the damage to scale crazily. I've had it tick for over 300k damage
