The option "Inner Child" doesn't work on Pandarens, it only gives the buff for 10min and nothing else.

Used once and got a size increase and a dress for occasion. No idea what I dress into, but the size one makes you stupidly massive, so massive that you can't actually move, which is normal, the tooltip says the same.

I got the option to create a "portal to somewhere." It took me to Mechagon Island in the phase where everything is on fire. At first I was both amused and annoyed, except I realized that I was there alone and bosses were up. Didn't get a mount or anything to drop, but I imagine I could have stuck around and kept trying. (And yes, at level 60 you can solo them.)

Used the inner child effect as a void elf (death knight if it matters) and turned into a void wraith type creature. Make of that what you will.

The size increase plus World Shrinker toy and the Ghostly Iron Buccaneer's Hat toy results in an absolutely massive pirate skeleton who does the orc shuffle dance. Without a doubt one of the funniest things I've seen.

Inner child on a worgen turned me into a shrunken version of The Big Bad Wolf from Karazhan. Second time as a worgen it turned me into a human child.

Inner child as a vulpera is exactly like the NPCs, you're no longer wearing pants. Wtf?

Anyone level 10+ can spawn the anima cell but you need to be 60 to actually use it. It does work in raids so get ready to laugh when someone opens a portal to a random location and leaves the raid.

The portal to somewhere sent me to the Windspire in Jade Forest. I'd never actually been there ingame so it was a welcome chance to sightsee a little.

So far the "Portal to Somewhere" has taken me to (29, 80) in Gorgrond - the edge of the Crimson Fen; (51, 86) in Stormsong Valley - the hidden "kite club" way up in the mountains, near the Tiragarde border; and third time, was to (19, 42) off the coast of Drustvar - The Drunk Tank, an underwater Tortollan bar.

Aside from that, I've only seen three powers; the one that makes you huge, the one that makes you a kid, and the one that dresses you up all fancy. I'm going to keep using the teleport whenever I get it though, and will keep this comment updated with all the places it sends me! It could be nothing, or maybe there could be a thread connecting all the locations that leads us to...something!

EDIT 1: Fourth time I was ported to "Reflection Peak" at (52.41, 51.54) in Highmountain. Interestingly, another high place with a kite present; also Tauren skeletons on the ground in the snow.

Fifth time, Stormsong Valley again; this time (67.80, 12.27) in the hidden underground cavern with quilboar and Hozen, on the unnamed island between Sagehold and the Shrine of the Storm. Second time I've been in proximity/view of the Shrine specifically, and the Drustvar port also had little N'zothian mind sucker dudes.

Sixth time, (51.65, 50.08) - Zul'Nazman in Nazmir, on the edge of the Heart of Darkness. Find it interesting that this is another "old god" locale.

EDIT 2 (Realized you can use the toy on any level 10+ but only 60s can interact with the orb. Still, with a set location and quick relogging, I was able to drop multiple orbs for my 60s within an hour, using my alts):

Seventh port - Valley of the Four Winds (47.57, 46.02); right in the middle of a pumpkin patch in The Heartland. ANOTHER kite in the distance, and the heart of Y'Shaarj right next door.

Eighth - Ahn'Qiraj, The Fallen Kingdom (42.54, 88.57) - inside the cave with Andrestasz, the red dragon, facing him directly.

Ninth - Dragonblight, the entrance to Moa'ki Harbor (48.71, 76.62); seemed unrelated and unremarkable at first...until I looked up. MORE KITES.

Tenth - Kun-Lai Summit, at the northern coast, west of Zouchin Village (55.72, 22.17) - facing the Isle of Giants. Happened to port into the area right as Lon'li Guju was flying past.

Eleventh - Area 52, Netherstorm (32.57 64.44) - fairly in the middle of town, directly facing the rocket being built by the goblins.

12 - Verrall River, NE of Victor's Point and NW of the Crucible of Carnage in the Twilight Highlands (44.99, 50.91ish - I accidentally put in cursor coordinates instead of player coordinates the first time so this is not exact,but VERY close) - Bastion of Twilight towering behind me, the plume of smoke from the Krazzworks visible off in the distance in front of me.

13 - The deck of the Staidridge airship in Deepholm; no exact coordinates because the ship is always moving, but I believe it was around (61.23, 45.19) somewhere over the Deathwing's Fall/Twilight Precipice area of the zone. ANOTHER Twilight inhabited/impacted area.

14 - Thor Modan, deep in the trench populated by iron Dwarves (66.90, 15.13) Grizzly Hills

15 - The Steam Pools, hidden in the southern part of Feralas (40.88, 88.81); well known these days, but used to be relatively secret. Spawn point was right beside the line for the snack bar. Sargeras' sword is MASSIVELY prominent from this spot.

16 - The Shimmering Expanse, Vashj'ir; on land at (59.11, 22.91) - nothing of note, but if you go underwater straight forward from this point, Nespirah immediately comes into view.

17 - Around the back of the Temple of Sethraliss, Vol'dun (54.79, 21.19); at a small tent with a red flag in the wind (have seen these in a few of the places, come to think of it) and with one of the rickety planks you can ride.

18 - Neverest Pinnacle, the Shrine of Ren Yun the Blind, Kun-Lai Summit (44.74, 52.30) - nothing particularly of note, but I kept hearing the water bubble splooshing sound that you hear when you have the Secret Fish Goggles on...but I didn't. Does the shrine make that noise?

19 - Mac'Aree, just outside of the Seat of the Triumvirate entrance (document crashed, lost exact coords, but will update if I'm sent there again)

20 - The out of the way sheep farm high above Elwynn Forest (5.60, 59.97)

EDIT 3:
21 - Next to a large bell, adorned with the likeness of Xuen, high atop a pillar in the Thunderwood, Jade Forest (41.02, 65.05) - Directly beneath two kites again, with four more visible in the middle distance. Can't tell if I'm going crazy seeing this as a pattern, or if there's just more kites in WoW than I've ever realized.

22 - Middle of the Sparksocket Minefield - The Storm Peaks (35.53, 87.24)

23 - The Golden Isle, Vol'dun (28.65, 89.10); nothing remarkable on the surface, but a LOT of bones of very large creatures (and shipwrecks) just beneath the water surrounding the island.

24 - Echo's Hovel (58.51, 19.87) in Time Displaced Mechagon

25 - The Windspire (65.25, 47.35), the Jade Forest; directly facing Master Nguyen, of "The Five Sorcerers" - he has a buff called "The Power of the Storm" and talks about how his order pass their "secrets" from generation to generation. There are supposedly five such sorcerers, and he won't divulge their identities, the nature of the secrets they keep, and only says that he doesn't remember where they are, or if they're alive. Need to do more research on this whole thing.

26 - Gilneas City, the heart of Merchant Square (13.77, 78.77 roughly - took a couple steps and backtracked before noting coords, but very close)

27 - Dreyrgrot, Stormheim (74.83, 55.56 approx. - moved a few steps without thinking and backtracked); Sir Finley Mrrgglton's camp, by the "vampiric" pirates, Northeast of Greywatch.

28 - The lake at Nordrassil (59.44, 24.16), with the Dreamgrove portal to my right, and the Nordrassil Inn to my left.

29 - Crab Fighting Ring, Crimson Coast (21.35, 66.17) Drustvar; a tattered waving banner, a large skeleton behind some rocks, and down the coast a ways from the Drunk Tank.

30 - Nagrand in Draenor, (74.78, 96.02) way off the coast below Grommashar, on an island in The South Sea; location of the egg 'escape pod' and 'Ever-burning Lamp' references to Robin Williams.

31 - Iso'rath/the Maw of Madness (48.31, 14.54), Twilight Highlands. Was ported directly above the Maw, and dropped down into the depths below.

I got an anima power called "Placeholder", and was common. This happened when selecting multiple anima powers from other people's cells in a group across ~30 minutes.. seems like it wasn't supposed to be there :P Doesn't do anything either

If they auto click "Portal to Somewhere" and then click the portal... bye!

Seems to be bugged for pandas at the moment. I've tried the "Inner Child" buff several times on my pandaren and it hasn't changed her appearance.

Something to note for those who like to use toys on their alts:

This toy can be used by anyone regardless of any level, however only level 60 players can actually use the Anima Cell that spawns. The Animal Cell may be used by anyone regardless of party or not.

The inner child buff for my undead forsaken uses a human child model but as a ghost.

10 runs at layer 9, item never appeared for sale. He did sell me epic cosmetic shoulders for transmog. Buying the two available appeared to make room for new additional items in his shop, but after purchasing 4 he only sold standard run items.

Items may be on a weekly cooldown. Will keep testing and check back next week.

Update 7/8 - 20 runs at layer 9 still nothing. But I know have 10 epic cosmetic shoulders... thanks I guess?

Update 7/8 - 26th run finally got this damn thing!

26 runs and 12 transmog shoulders later.

As a Dark Iron Dwarf, the inner child buff turned me into a bearded gnome with the same skin color as Dark Iron Dwarves and red eyes. Kind of creepy, honestly.

An undocumented patch 9.1.5 change now requires a character to be level 60 in order to use this toy (previously was level 10). This may be because the summoned anima cell itself has always required level 60 to interact with.

I have been using this since it was released, now the portal to someplace is no longer active. It just leaves a black hole in the air but you cannot click on it.

Got this on my 7th run of Upper Reaches Layer 9 at the vendor on Floor 5 as I'm trying to expedite finishing Secret Fish and Where to Find Them without waiting for Chromie.

As someone who didn't run much Torghast, I also walked away with:

I chose the Inner Child option as an evoker and got turned into one of the little drakonoids that run around. XD I laughed so much. Loved that they made dracthyr have a unique effect for this.

In Dragonflight 10.1.7, I did this:

1. Completed the quest to gain access to Thorghast (took no time)
2. Completed 2 runs of layer 12 then layer 13, and found the toy on the Layer 13, Floor 5 vendor.

Make sure to always loot Phantasma stuff if anima balls provide it, and just bash all the vases and enemies in your path, and you should have enough for the toy by floor 5, and more to get other cosmetic rewards if you want them.

Found in Layer 9 Upper Reaches, Floor 3 vendor. Had the Experimental Anima Cell and a Shoulder transmog at the same time. Bought both.

Portal to Somewhere option has no effect if you are high enough to use it on a Neutral Pandaren, you can click it, but you do not transport anywhere.

Inner Child has no effect on Neutral Pandaren.

I've used this on 3 characters so far, all Level 70. It worked on one of them, and the other 2, it spawned the anima orb, which immediately despawned. Got the 1 hour CD on it, and it didn't do it's thing.
