Obtained by researching Argent Steed from Sir Alamande Graythorn (Paladin class hall research, tier2, 2k resources, 4 hrs)

Similar to the mount in WoD-Nagrand. You can use it as much as you want during the 1 hr duration.

Lets you fight mounted while in the open world. This includes using quest objectives and gathering.

Cannot be cast in combat or while moving.

Spawns near the exit of the Light's Hope Chapel secret paladin area. Looks like it has a daily respawn (with the daily quests i presume). I strongly recommend picking it up when you are ready to quest, since the timer starts ticking as soon as you pick it up and NOT when you first use it. Counts only logged in time, just like flasks.

Still not sure if this is the better option to have. There are certain craftable consumables, that give you the ability to pick quest items and gather while mounted which is the real value of this "mount".

Any race that spins during Crusader Strike while using this mount will have their entire torso rotate separately from their legs and it looks absolutely ridiculous.

1 hour timer starts immediately when you loot it from your class hall.
Must be looted from the hall every day before using it.
Can be used indefinitely past the first hour, so long as you are mounted prior to the 1 hour timer expiring and you do not do anything to auto dismount yourself (such as entering into an "indoor area"). Note: this may just be a bug and not intended.

Note: Profession gathering will now also cause you to become dismounted. Anyone know if that applies to skinning as well?

This thing is okay for combat but is amazing for archeology dig sites.

While in use, Divine Steed only has 1 charge and also has a 45 second cooldown, however it does still give you a short, significant speed boost that stacks with the reins.

It is unique, so you can't loot one when you already have reins in inventory (or full backpack). But you can try.
If you do, Postmaster will deliver Reins that you could not loot to your mailbox where their duration will not decrease, so you can store them for later use (within 30 days)

This is extremely useful for doing your daily World Quests in general, but one quest in particular that I might single it out for recognition for is Operation Murloc Freedom.

Mounted combat in a World PvP zone makes it an absolute cakewalk.

Just to clarify, this is only a GROUND mount. Once you have unlocked flying in Legion, the only place this is useful is Argus.

Not sure if this was the case before, but it only spawns once per daily reset. After grabbing it and using it for the first hour - it did not respawn until the next day.

Wish they allowed more mounted combat - if they were willing to do some mounted spear animation, it would make roleplaying as a Cavalier or Knight feel pretty nice.
