In a similar format to the other classes Tier 20 sets, this is an updated version of the 'Skyshatter Regalia' Shaman armour set that drops from the Tier 6 Burning Crusade raids.

There are five different colour variations:

LFR - Purple
Normal - Green
Heroic - Gold/Bronze
Mythic - Blue (matching the original Tier 6 colour from Burning Crusade raids Mount Hjyal, Black Temple and Sunwell Plateau)
'Cruel Gladiator' PvP Elite - Red (matching the original Vengeful PvP set from Burning Crusade) **this red PvP Elite set was a time-limited reward and no longer obtainable**

The Mythic version of the gear uses a slightly different model, more notably the addition of a glowing triangular part on the top of the front of the helmet. The Mythic shoulders also have small feathers on them as well.

tested the 2 set just now, it works as follows:

-procs randomly on heals
-the proc charge lasts about 15 seconds and the icon looks somewhat like undulation's icon
-the initial AND hot portion gets double your crit rate, i.e. i have about 35% crit rate therefore the next riptide has about 70% chance to crit for each heal

it turned out to give me a 55-56 % crit chance on riptide overall which is a pretty insane boost to its HPS. this is by far much better than what i thought it would be.

Wearing more pieces of this set will convey bonuses to your character.

2 pieces (Elemental) : Reduce the cooldown of [Storm Elemental / Fire Elemental] by [Storm Elemental: 0.5 / 1.0] sec when Flame Shock periodic damage deals a critical strike. This effect may occur once every 1.0 sec.
2 pieces (Enhancement) : Crash Lightning increases your critical strike chance by 5% for 16 sec.
2 pieces (Restoration) : Your healing spells have a chance to increase the Critical Strike chance of your next Riptide by 100%.
4 pieces (Elemental) : While [Storm Elemental / Fire Elemental] is active, your Flame Shock deals 5% increased damage over time and always critically strikes.
4 pieces (Enhancement) : Stormstrike increases the initial damage of your next Crash Lightning by 35%, stacking up to 15 times.
4 pieces (Restoration) : When Riptide's initial heal critically strikes, the healing done by your next Healing Rain is increased by 50%.
