Anyone else miss those times before lvl 80.. and 70 as well..
Where AV's could take hours and raids actually were fun.
Ain't playing WoW anymore, but I just got nothing better to do atm than posting :-/

Reminissing the old days :D. I wish blizzard would give us servers that just go up to 60, for the older generation, and maybe the newr so they know what skill ACCTUALLY is.

I can't do much about AV for you, but Zul'Gurub, Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, the Ruins and Temple of Ahn'Qiraj are still there as level 60 raids - for now at least. I ran Blackwing Lair tonight with 9 people - half of whom were pulled from a community raiding channel, and half are regulars of mine. A few of them were not 80 yet - I typically allow anyone who can zone in to come with. It can be a lot of fun explaining the particulars of each pull and boss to folks who haven't seen this content before, and to re-experience it yourself.
There's plenty of interest for the old raids out there - folks want achievements, old tier sets, mounts (from ZG/AQ40/KZ/TK), reputation, or quest completion - or just want to experience the old content.
Ask around, set up a custom channel for old world raiding, and have fun!

but its not the same, sure you can xp lock at 60 but you wanna feel the difficulty again, and when you bring higher level friends it wont be as hard anymore.
i wish there were indeed more people that would /xp lock 60, lol

Hell yes.
I remember playing AV, leaving and going to sleep, then loggin back in 6 hours later and coming into the very same AV battle.
I liked it.
Also, since honor gain did not diminish after X kills back then, it was absolutely worth it as well.

Vanilla wow was good when it was released. I never had a good time grasping every concept of it. The maximum I went was Goldshire. Since I couldnt afford the subscription I just had to wait until I could. But I hope it was good after I left before. However; AV still takes 30mins-1hr if there is a major conflict...means if hordes running to your base and you are running to horde. (which happens most of the time...

That's how I feel about Toon Town, Neopets, and Spore I guess I'm just to new to WoW to see any difference maybe when Cataclysm comes out I can actually see what these conversations are about.

Make sure you don't own a pair of
Rose Tinted Glasses
.
All I have to say was, Vanilla sucked, BC was good, Wrath was kindof a step back, although I liked some stuff they added.

Vanilla WoW sucked. I'll never step foot in Molten Core or Blackwing Lair ever again.
Aw too hard for you, were they? Unprepared groups and lack of skill is the downfall of many in those two places.
There's an old adage: "Practice makes perfect."
