Hello!
I have read many diffrent threads about this topic. With the buffs in 3.2, will shamans (all trees) be fun to pvp with then? Is the buffs enough.
I got a shammy alt at 80 that I think of start playing more once 3.2 hits. Will it be worth it to gather gear to pvp then or am I still getting my ass kicked as easy as i used to? :)
Cheers

Bout time too, blizzards always been focusing on ret paladins since wotlk more than any spec in the entire of wow. Shamans seem alright, how about giving us 20% ms on flametongue?

Are the buffs enough for what? Making pvp fun? It already is fun. I got more than i hoped for.
Though the patch might make it more comfortable to play a shaman for most of us, no patch will make you a better player unfortunately. If you suck at playing a shaman now, you will still suck at playing one even after 3.2.

Um, yes?

They already implemented a flametongue MS effect in one of the PTRs. It was decided that it did not work effectively.
As for 3.2, it appears that shamans are getting a very nice overhaul. I doubt they will turn out to be a FOTM class, but will be more competitive.

Who would use FT over FB in arena, and why? If you need 20% MS effect, then you need to get better.
(edited: sounded like i meant Ghostlight specifically, when i meant every shaman.)

WIll ghost wolf ignore snares that are already on us once we go into ghost wolf?
Sounds like a hand of freedom almost except as soon as we use any skill we lose it. Shamans definitely need the buff though, we've been at the bottom of the pile since tbc. Thats why i quit mine and probably allot of others did too.

Elemental because they have FS, and I've changed to it several times while Resto for additional burst and some armour-bypassing swing damage.

Haha, but I meant in relation to the MS effect he wanted on FT. Elemental going melee to apply -20% debuff? I think not.

The ghost wolf effect is amazing.
That and the fact that i wont have to choose wether to interupt or FS.
Not to mention 7% more health.
And hopefully all together this could revive pvp for a shaman without having to choose a spec that minimizes damage just to survive.
