I'm loving my new 80 Warrior Prot.
I haven't done raids yet, but I'm wondering what I would be doing when I have the OT role.
What kind of rotations do I do when another tank is MTing a single target boss?
Best dps and low threat comes to mind. I can't think of anything without accidentally over aggroing.

Follow the same rotation as you would normally (as rage allows)
You can generate as much threat as you like so long as you don't steal aggro as that can cause a mess of problems when ur healers are nuking one tank just for the other to instantly receive 40k damage with a 3rd attack on its way when they shouldn't have been getting hit at all.
Generally the tank being hit will generate more threat than the tank not being hit due to a more lucrative rage supply, rune strikes, and reflective damage so stealing aggro even with their highest tps rotation usually isn't a problem for the current OT but be sure to monitor your threat in relation to the current tank just in case.

You should spam devastate, and use shieldslam when sword and board proccs. this in battlestance. switch to def stance when shield block is up, hit it, and switch back.
When you dont get hit, you wont have rage for hs, if there is some splash damage so rage allows, sure hs away, but dont unless you got plenty of rage.
use a slow weapon, since most of your damage will be devastates, and devastates hits harder with slow weapons.
If you offtank in the style of "stand on tank so you share damage" be in defensive stance instead of battle. (marrowgar and similar.) On kologarn, use battlestance and dps from behind until he casts fusion punch, then switch to def and go stand on tank, after punch switch back to battle and go dps boss from behind.
